From news reports, several states have mandated shorter response times to pay claims. Wouldn’t the WYO companies be in a very tough situation if they don’t have the money from NFIP to pay the claims?

They can’t balance a budget, can’t keep FEMA and NFIP operational, or a bill to help Hurricane Sandy’s claimants. We are dumb enough to re-elect these clowns.
