These were the same bureaucrats who were snoring while all the sub-prime shennanigans were being pulled by Freddie, Fannie, banks, AIG back in 07-08. How about Sequestering them right out of business since they are useless anyway. We have way to many departments, agencies, sub agencies, commissions who are sucking the economy dry and this one would be high on my list to go.

Don’t forget to add the rating agencies to the list!

Gee Youngin, I didn’t know S&P, Moody’s were governmental agencies. I learn something new every day. From the Insurance standpoint, Best is not much anymore. They have given AIG “A” ratings through all the troubled years before and after the bailout. In the old days, a company like that would have been dissolved or at least put under Chapter 11 reorganization. These financial wizards from the great N/E have all been asleep at the switch.

Imganie that, a government agency wanting more money. Obama passed his solutino to the “2011 United States debt-ceiling crisis” (ironically calling it the Budget Control Act while raising the debt ceiling with an option to raise it more later) on the condition of “Budget Sequestration” so the defiect could start being reined in a bit with automatic budget cuts overtime. Push comes to shove and its time for that budget sequestration to kick in and the federal agencies are crying and I am sure will get their way and rack up that govt credit card. Such is the modern day Roman empire, I mean United States ;)
