You are right wvagt. This article does not mention what small business will be doing. Any business under 50 employees will either buy a bare bones deal or drop their benefits altogether and throw the employees onto the exchanges. They may pay the employee a little more, but it will be inadequate to buy coverage and in all liklihood, they will end up with one of those Medicaid style plans that is not nearly as good as the one they left. By the way, I hope you didn’t get snowed in too bad with the latest round of snow hitting the N/E.
My area didn’t get the snow that was predicted, only about 3″ of wet slush that was mostly gone by mid-afternoon yesterday. My friends in the mountains got hit pretty hard, and the ski areas are staying open until Easter. The good part is that DC shut down for the day yesterday.
The bad part is that we had to pay them anyway. We can’t seem to keep the White House open for tours due to Sequester, but we can buy new uniforms for TSA for $50 Million and send the Muslim Brotherhood another $250 Million. Do we have a great government or what?
And now they are admitting that the cost of implementing the exchanges will be more than double what they estimated. What a gigantic lie they sold the American people. They said the cost of implementation of this law would be $900 Billion over 10 years. It is now estimated to be triple that and rising with each passing month. All of this wonderful stuff and rates are due to rise 32% for families covered. Oh boy! Isn’t this wonderful?
THANKS to all who voted for Obama-care…and to those conservatives who stayed home and did not vote.
The expression about we get what we deserve…sad but true…and this administration and policies are indeed SAD.
Once the true costs start to show up in a year or so, that 26% figure will drop like a rock.

That it will. And my liberal friends say then we’ll just have to socalize our healthcare. They just don’t get it.
Thanks OBama! Way to inflate cost!
FFA, I have seen reports that healthcare costs of a family of 5 will hit $20,000 in 2015. That is what the Affordable Care Act has done to us.
