Hi FFA. Can you say the “Law of Unintended Consequences”? Every week is a new revelation. I hear there are now several thousand pages of regulations to this 2,700 page monstrocity. They are going to have to find and hire and train thousands of “Navigators” to help people apply on a 15 page app. Do you think any of the brain dead Obama voters ever dreamed it would be this complicated or that it would be anything but free? They won’t like their premiums much either since the average increase is supposed to be around 32% and then the tax will hit. The positive news is that the bill appears to be crumbling and the Medical Devices tax is the first of the taxes to go.

Job Title Navigator sounds pretty cool. More OBama Language in English means data entry.

They could try the OWS failure to launch live at home with mom crowd except they are dumb as a door knob and wouldn’t be able to navigate through the 15 page app. Pretty good money is to be made at $20-30 per hour and I think they would take hours on each app.

Funny how people who are on the permanent dole for everything don’t have to put up with complications like this, but people who are working and paying the taxes(that fund those on the dole) do.

So if the are going to cap the amount someone has to reply of the subsidy, what is stop a clever person from understating his/her income, getting the subsidy and then paying back part of it later?

Interest free loan, and with a liars advantage.

Hey FFA, the Hill has just released a report that the cost of setting up the exchanges will be more than double what our Progressive friends said it would be when the law was passed to the tune of $6billion+ so far. Of course, if they have to hire several thousand “Navigators” to walk people through that 15 page app at $30 per hour, that will surely be in the billions as well. Even Jay Rockefeller who was one of the architects of this disaster is admitting it is far more complex than he imagined. This is due to implode at some point, hopefully sooner than later.

Hey FFA, remember all those lawmakers who passed the bill in the middle of the night without reading it? I guess some of them have now and their staff is now seeing the consequences so there is a move now to “exempt” Congressional Staff from Obamacare. It is good for the Serfs/citizens out there, but government doesn’t have to live with it. We should just stock up on tar, feathers and rails and send them all packing.

I am not in Dallas, 150 miles away. Almost any good Independent Agent will do over there. There should be dozens of them. She will probably pay a higher deductible on her home there due to the incidence of wind/hail exposure. I would have her google Insurance Agents and pull up their websites and the ones with the most markets and in business a long time should work. Can’t say I blame her for moving. Dallas is a pretty dynamic city even though the Cowboys suck. Did you know that goofy Jerry Jones made Romo the highest paid player in the NFL with the new contract? $55 Million is guaranteed no matter if he never leads them to Superbowl. What an idiot! Romo must have dangled a watch and chain in front of him and hyptnotized him to agreeing to this.

I was in Dallas this week. Great city. I could get into a big pick up truck, boots and a straw Stetson. Actually wore my real good cowboy boots, jeans, button done long sleeve, timepiece with a Texas leather band and Texas handmade belt while I was there. We had a group dinner outside of town on a ranch. I looked the part!
By the way, I saw an article that said 5 of the top 10 fastest growing cities in the US are in Texas. I like Texas.

I hope you got some of those good BBQ ribs or brisket Sargent. Dallas has a lot to offer and is one of the more dynamic cities in the country. I understand State Farm is moving a substantial operation to the burbs there. They must have liked what they saw and can downsize their Illinois operation.

Agent, I actually had great BBQ and brisket. On two night we had fancy dinners. One at a place called Perry’s in downtown Dallas and another at Al Biernat’s. Also in downtown. The filet at Perry’ was terrific. Then we had a night out on a ranch and we full access to whatever we wanted to do or see. I have been there many times and every time I go back it seems to have grown. Great town, state and no state income tax.

He is not even in the top 10 quarterbacks. He gets a lot of yardage, but he leads the league in interceptions and keeps making rookie mistakes and he is now 34 years old. Dallas is sitting there with a good young quarterback named Stephen McGee who is a real prospect, but he won’t get to play unless Romo goes down again.

Sargent, I am glad you had a great time in Big D. Dallas is growing north and west primarily. Coming down the freeway from DFW airport, row after row of big buildings and industrial parks with national companies abound. Dallas has great facilities. I have kids in Flower Mound which is a sprawling suburb and I call it yuppieville. Kind of amazing what they have done and you can’t tell when you are leaving one suburb to the next.

The Romo deal shocked me. Why would Jones pay Romo that much? I don’t get it. Granted, several other players are over paid, but that’s no excuse.

For what it’s worth, I loved Dallas the one time I got to work there for a couple weeks. I also enjoyed my week in Houston. Texas is a great place. I would probably move there if I could stand the heat.

The quick answer jw is that Jones is mesmerized by Romo and he will sacrifice other areas of the team that needs improvement in order to pay Romo. What he doesn’t understand is that without an offensive line, no quarterback will last in the NFL. The team’s window of being competitive is rapidly closing and Jones is in denial.

As far as the heat in Texas, it is what you get used to. I would rather put up with that than live in the frozen tundra of the north. At least I can play golf all year long and we may only lose a couple of weekends during the winter.

Oh my, don’t underestimate your income cause we will come after you. Now how long do you think it will take to put that system in place and how much fraud will already be in the system? How much of that money will be long gone?
The IRS can’t even stop illegal aliens from committing tax fraud. They file tax returns adding family members who are living in Mexico as US dependents and they walk off with 12 to 15,000 dollars in a return when they paid nearly nothing in. It is a $4.5Billion dollar fraud and growing. If they can’t stop something as simple as that, how are they going to chase down a “you lied to us about your income” we want our money back?
I keep saying this is a joke and gets worse every week.

Hey FFA, I saw where there were 4 more murders in Chicago with 21 injured, some critically this past weekend. I thought Dead Fish had it all under control up there, at least according to him. They need stricter gun control, right? Go door to door and take the guns away from the citizens. That ought to reduce the murder rate.

Food stamp fraud in metro Detroit Michigan, to many is a way of life and many have been on it for generations. It works with convenient store owners (most are all run by Muslims)and many have been under FBI investigation for skimming the till and welfare scams. It is unelieveable.

        Obozocare won’t be any better.

What makes you think people who need subsidies are going to buy insurance? I keep telling everyone, most of the uninsured people don’t want cheap medical insurance they want free health care. Most people in this category will just pay the tax penalty, but wait almost 100% of people on government subsidies don’t pay federal incomes tax so how does that work?

Hey Original, 47% already pay no Federal Income Tax, but they receive a refund anyway. Will the IRS just deduct the health tax from their refund? These people still know they can run to the county hospital and be treated even if they have no Health Insurance. That is a way of life with them and Obummercare will not change that. We will be stuck with the bill as usual.
