Yes, Dave. I would like to see more action to root out the graft and corruption of the Food Stamp program. I saw where there is at least $175 million in pure fraud, but I suspect it is much higher. This department is typical of the other departments which waste our money and should be scaled way back. They actually pay farmers for not growing crops which guarantee the prices remain high. Why not encourage export of our food crops to sell to other countries and perhaps we could get hard currency for the crops. Maybe Egypt and Saudia Arabia don’t eat peanuts because they are unclean.
More subsidies and pice supports backed by a nation $17 trillion in debt and adding $1.2 trillion ot that debt every year. Great! Just what we need.
