Seems cannibalistic. Lawyers making money suing and defending other lawyers. The only losers are the insurance carriers and policyholders.

All the more reason for extensive Tort Reform in all states. These guys are leeches sucking the blood out of the economy. By the way, an overwhelming number of politicians are attorneys, many of whom made their living suing people and companies. No wonder the country is in such a difficult state. 500 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean is a good start as the saying goes.

There used to be a lawyer joke due to the # of lawyers graduating from U. of Miami: How many lawyers does one need? One to defend you and one to sue your other lawyer!! Appears to be reality now….

For a while I kept track of the number of ambulance chasing scummwad attorney ads on TV and one evening there were three in a row from three different law firms. My attorney is tops and I trust and respect him. There are too many attorneys in Congress and their lobby is way too influential. You are NOT entitled to a Powerball sized payout as the result of an injury. Insurance is priced to indemnify policy holders, not to give them DC fat cat lifestyles.
