A)Is AIG attempting to suggest that they had cause to believe that their Goverment deal unsulated them from civil action from actual victims? I’m suprised I dont see this asked/mentioned.
B) Did AIG not in some way splinter up into a bunch of little new-named insurers to allow them to continue by distancing themselves from the AIG name? It sure seems that, more often than not, when I deal with a WC carrier I’ve not heard of before, I find that things point back to AIG origin. Not a statement, just an inquiry..
