You know what? Every cut will affect someone. Get over it. Every time politicians finally agree to cut spending, some special interest group throws a fit. Well, just because this group has a powerful lobby, doesn’t mean they deserve the funding any more than any other group. I’m at the point I’m willing to cut everything. Just cut every single program at least 25% and completely eliminate others.

We are never going to get out of debt, are we?

I think to a certain extent we should pass an amendment that follows the Oklahoma example: 1 bill – 1 topic. Multi-subject bills are unconstitutional. The main reason there is grid-lock is that every bill that’s passed has amendments thrown in that have nothing to do with the original bill.

Put enough pork in any bill and you’ll never get enough agreement on everything in it to get it passed. So what’s the result? nothing gets done.

WTH do food stamps have to do with farm subsidies. Nothing gets done on either because they’re lumped into the same bill.

Obama can buy a lot of cell phones for his voters with $100 million?
Why don’t we start cutting all the foreign aide we give to our enemies?
