    I’m sorry, I guess I missed the part where AIG shareholders were treated like they’re insured by the FDIC or their returns are somehow guaranteed. They should be told what all of us other investors are told every time we put money in or recieve a statement. Stocks returns ARE NOT guaranteed or otherwise insured by the FDIC. Historical performance is not a guaranty of future returns.

    they should show him the door. (and who cares if it hits him in his behind on the way out.)

    Go get em Hank! I agree the Federal government got involved in something they shouldn’t have. And someone needs to question this government because we sure know the Senate isn’t in position to question anybody except themselves.
