The attorney hired by GM to conduct the internal probe has worked for them since 2002. He obviously has no conflict of interest. They conveniently ignored the internal memo published that showed that the former CEO had knowledge of the defect and deaths. Even if both of these did not exist, how can you possibly excuse a culture that would exclude the CEO from knowledge of such a huge problem? Oh yeah, plausible deniability.
