Here in NC the Coastal Resources Commission Science Panel said Sea Levels have been rising by 15″ / 100 years, but then we get data from the Division of Coastal Management showing that Accretion of Coastline was been increasing, and NOAA funded Flood Mapping shows Sea Levels have been Falling.
Sure is all mixed up.
How can we trust Scientific Foresight when the Data doesn’t support the Scientific Hindsight?

Suppose we decrease our carbon footprint here in the US by 30% over the next 25-50 years while China and India increase theirs by over 200%. What does that do to the climate and what does it do to the manufacturing base here in the US and in China and India? Just wondering?

NC is what happens when politicians attempt to dictate science. So I wouldn’t put a great deal of faith of any information put out by a NC agency. http://www.newsobserver.com/2014/03/15/3702235/while-the-seas-rise-science-waits.html

Dave, under your hypothetical numbers, I suspect we’d all be fracked, such that the manufacturing base would be the least of our problems.
