If it’s up to Scalia Law, women will lose again.

OH NO! Not the Supreme Court of Misoyny AGAIN! No medical coverage for birth control, no protection from screaming enemies of choice, and next: no work protection when pregnant. Somebody Up There (in the Highest Court there’s at least 5 out of 9 Somebodies) wants women pregnant, barefoot and in the kitchen. And I scoff at friends who think Shaira Law is sneaking its way into the US. I may need to rethink that

That was the dumbest thing I’ve read today. You should be ashamed of your stupidity. We are all dumber for having read that. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

You devalue your own garbage politics by saying what I said was misogynistic or by calling me a misogynist.

Give me a singular example of misogyny in what I wrote. I dare you.

I’m aggressive and hostile towards abject idiocy; particular when the idiot spewing nonsense is a liberal who has no understanding of facts. Way to diminish gender equality though.

You’ve told us about your life. Plus you give yourself away every time you post. You’re still wet behind the ears and doen’t have nearly enough life experience to spout off the way you do. You are arrogant and ignorant and that’s a very dangerous combination.

BTW – I am not a disgusting person. Find a better adjective, kid.

Fine, hag. I’ve told you nothing about my life besides that I got f***ed by Obamacare. You absolutely devalue the idea of equality with the assertion that criticizing a women is immediately misogynistic. If a male had said what I initially responded to I would’ve given the same response. You’re a trashbag.

Your utter contempt for people with a different ideology is a sure sign of your immaturity. The world is not black and white, no matter how much you think it is Destro. Maybe you’ll learn a little more as you mature. But I’m doubtful, only due to your enormous ego and total arrogance.

Destro, everyone got screwed by Obama care. I have already paid out over $5000 out of pocket. There is no stop loss on them policies.

So you not the only one. Most people just dont realize how bad this thing is until they use it on a regular basis.

Its the worst thing that has come to our industry in my working life time. No Cap on Out of pocket expenses… What a pile of crap. And I took the Gold Policy.

Unions and their rules have outlived their usefulness. Sure, back when they were invented it offered great worker protections but these days they are a nuisance with other worker protection laws on the books. Also, there is the internet, and all sorts of places to look up and rate workplaces. In a non-union work environment this lady would most likely have been accomodated if she was a good worker.

True. She’s penalized for working for a union company. It sounds like her union doesn’t care about pregnancy, either. If this contract was created AFTER the pregnancy law, then maybe she should sue her union.

Note to all women who might want children: don’t work for UPS or any other company with a union contract that stipulates who may go on light duty.

I am confused at how “disability” can be S-O-O-O-O broadly interpretted (and accommodated!!) under ADA and yet an obvious inability to lift in protection of the viability of a developing fetus cannot be defended at the employment level. This is just another example of an organization playing hardball with unions and trying to gain SOME traction against their next contract negotiation. I wonder if they have changed their posture since this situation. Does anyone know or care to comment? Unless this is just a veiled attempt to discourage mothers with young children from coming back to work after delivery or avoiding maternity benefits altogether.

I dont understand how people can consider Pregnancy a disability. I dont understand how the Union could have missed such a thing in the contract negotiations. Pregnancy is not a new thing… Been happening for … well…. ever.

You are all wrong on the union usefulness, If it wasn’t for the union there would be no women drivers.
