This can’t be good. There are regulators, huge carriers and brokers, 1 agent (from DC of all places), and not 1 group representing insurance agents or the industry at large. Anyone else see a problem?

Do not understand why the Feds need to tax the insurance industry. Oh wait it’s all about the money! Thinking that the agent associations need to actively lobby our public elected officials to put an end to this ‘white elephant’ in the making. The states have done an outstanding job to date!

I agree. There’s also no one from the affinity and/or group insurance arena through which many (the majority?) insured individuals get their insurance.

Agree…… at least one of the agent associations should be on this committee to get real world, broad spectrum views. What a dissapointment.
