I’m certainly no expert… but, it just doesn’t seem right, not to mention imprudent, to use Russian Rocket engines or even their assistance in our space program, for anything.

Well, blame the Republicans for gutting our space program funding so deeply we had to contract with private companies. This never would have happened if NASA had been in charge.

      You get around, Libby.

As you recall from another comment section, NASA is much more concerned about Muslim outreach than mundane things like rocket launches.

As for your irresponsible, baseless charge of Republicans gutting funding, none other than Slate and Bill Nye have different views:

You know, with all the animous between the Muslim and Western worlds, why is it a bad thing to reach out and try to find common ground?

As far as my irresponsible, baseless charge against the Republicans and NASA funding, I will stand corrected and admit I did not do my due diligence before making that statement.

BTW Libby, since you deny all the lies you make on these boards I’ll make certain to document them all and provide back up. I know Saul Alinsky’s book pushes the idea of repeating a lie often enough and it can become the truth. But Saul wrote the book before the internet and Fox News. You are hereby called out.

It’s not a lie if I believe it to be true. Just because you disagree with my opinion doesn’t make it a lie. I may be ill-informed or clueless, but I’m no liar.

Sure Libby. Point out where I’ve been wrong.

Now you. “Bush lied, troops died”

Do you admit to making this simplistic statement and do you still stand by it?

You are wrong on so many levels, I have lost track. But I will start to point them out to you starting…. Now!

I know. You’re wrong about climate change. There is irrefutable evidence that the earth is warming. You continue to deny that fact.

So, are you lying or just wrong?

Let’s hope they were insured to value. Coinsurance penalty? Let’s do the math: “Did” over “should” times the amount of the loss minus the deductible.

Very good, Very! Now…. Did – $50M. Should – not much. Pay-out? Value of worn out Russian rocket built using 1970’s technology. Minus deductible.
