We better get a whole lot better at cyber warfare before we turn all our roads and transportation over to computers and clouds. We cannot defend our electrical grids, water filtration, traffic lights or nuclear power as it is now. You know, sometimes low tech really is better. I would rather be in control and take my chances of an accident than be unable to go anywhere because Omar has brought down my autonomous car and the roadway computer.

I agree AdjustThis! Can anyone trust GM anymore on anything? How many recalls have they had in the past year? This is a bit too George Jetson to suit me and I don’t think they are smart enough to figure it all out and the hackers would have a field day making cars go crazy and cause accidents.

I completely agree, I think as a society we’re removing all responsibilty for everything, it’s scary. I mean it’s cute when creationists say, “Well, it’s in Gawd’s hands now”, but I don’t want my life in hers or anyone else’s except mine.Plus,if they have facial recognition cameras in my car detecting road rage, I’d be screwed and never get anywhere!
