Ambers joined NetVU as chief staff executive in September 2013. During her tenure she has overseen a recent software upgrade to improve the organization’s automation, enhanced educational offerings, and increased opportunities for members to network. She has also led the staff, as membership has expanded, to encompass all Vertafore product users, including carriers, managing general agencies and some regulators.

In her 30 years in the insurance industry, Ambers has worked as an independent consultant and educator, served as executive director of the AIMS Society, and was director of member services for the Professional Insurance Agents of Virginia and the District of Columbia.

“Currently, 20,000 firms use Vertafore products and NetVU now represents all of them,” said Ambers. “We are focused on finding ways to engage with each and every one of our constituencies to enhance their experience with their Vertafore products.”

NetVU is an independent national member organization for the more than 20,000 insurance agencies, carriers and MGAs, and more than 150,000 users of Vertafore’s technology. The organization has 55 member-led local and virtual chapters.
