Hartford/AARP program has this all figured out already. It is too bad more carriers don’t cater to the Senior market. Instead, they penalize older insureds with higher rates because the insurance score has declined some.
You said, “It is too bad more carriers don’t cater to the Senior market. Instead, they penalize older insureds with higher rates because the insurance score has declined some.” Is this a fact or your opinion? If it is a fact, please present your evidence with a cited source. If it is you opinion, then please indicate that when you make your initial statement.
Do you think reduced capacities such as vision, hearing, reflexes, etc. could increase the risk senior drivers present and therefore lead to higher rates? I am not saying all seniors experience these things, but many do.
There is no one I know of who is older than Agent, so I’d say he knows everything there is to know about reduced faculties. I mean hell, just look at the way he argues here on our prestigious forum.
There is no place this is happening more than the insurance industry.
