I didn’t know AIG was in the Personal Lines business anymore. They sold off 21st Century some years ago to Farmers when they were in the throws of their numerous problems. My guess is they will have some trust issues with customers.
Agent – Between personal lines and life/retirement, I believe they have about $30B in revenue. It’s safe to say that AIG’s consumer business is significant and doing quite well.
Gee, I wonder why I have never run into an AIG Home or Auto policy if they do so much. Do you represent them? What paper are they writing on for Personal Lines? I know they write Life and retirement plans. Give me the P&C only for Personal Lines.
