    Systemic designation is Wall Street doublespeak for too big too fail. A financial entity that is too big to fail, is too big to exist. When are we going to apply anti-trust law again? Unfortunately, not until it is too late, as the regulators have also been bought off by Wall Street.

    I don’t understand why they had to take money from the government in the first place. Having done that, there are always strings attached. If Met Life went down, it would not bring down the financial system. Other insurance companies would purchase their assets or give/lend them money. I don’t trust our government. They are rapacious predators.
