Maybe Michael will rehire some of the thousands of people displaced by Ed Rust and his cronies, all for the sake of making a dollar. You could have made seventy five cents and kept all of those dedicated employees and facilities and worked on cost management via attrition. But….no. You wanted to eat the whole pie at once. Maybe Michael Tipsord should make a corporate number to reach his office for calls that have gone through customer service and then to the escalation team and then again to a higher escalation team and got the result of NOTHING. I was also twice given the wrong person and the wrong number to reach the regional manager and also told by one of them to reach ED RUST and gave me a wrong number. Shouldn’t the regional manager know that ED RUST no longer exists in the company and have the right person and number. Now I’m not a rocket scientist. But I would think with someone given that position in the company would not be so ignorant. I also know that I pay close to $6000.00 a year to state farm for my Insurance…. (That will be changing) and they are not repairing my car unless I pay 2 deductibles for same claim…. my car has been in the shop for 4 MONTHS!!!!! Social media is a great tool. IT DOESN’T END HERE!!!!!!

Re: giving out my private information to marketing companies.
I purchased motor vehicle insurance from State Farm for my Mini Cooper, which is registered my married name, Margaret Amyotte. The state farm policy is my maiden name of Margaret Reeves.
After the car manufactures warranty insurance expired, I began receiving sales phone calls for warranty insurance.
I immediately contacted Mini of Madison, (where I purchased the car), to ask the why they had divulged my (unlisted) phone number to insurance companies. This company has assured me that they do not give out the personal details of clients, however explained that the DMV does.
I then contacted the Department of Motor Vehicles to find out why they released my personal phone cell number to warranty companies. After speaking with Mark Gottlieb, Of the Office of the Secretary I received assurances that my phone number would never be given out. The personal information that the DMV does sell, is Name and Address only. As I have checked the privacy section this would not occur.
Finally in the last two weeks I have noticed that the sales calls are asking for, Margaret Reeves who has a mini cooper, out of warranty. I finally realized that the information can only be coming from State Farm insurance; they are the only company who has me listed as Reeves. The DMV and Mini of Madison have me listed as Margaret Amyotte.
Today I went into my State Farm Agents to complain about the release of my cell phone number. I was not satisfied with the explanation. They also assured me that they do not divulge my person details. They explained that all this can be found on the internet.
I would like to make a personal complaint that companies should not sell or otherwise release personal details of name and address and phone number to anyone.
I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until July 1st 2016 before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or the Better Business Bureau. Please contact me via the email I have provided above.

Margaret, you’ve given any decent ID thief a good amount of info here. This is not the correct forum for your concerns. The better choice for your concerns is your state insurance commissioner’s office. The BBB has no legal binding authority to make anyone do anything and no business is obligated to join, just so you know that. Yes, much of your info can be found on the internet, this is the age we live in. In my state, WA, our DMV info is used to contact us along with our voter registration for jury duty. You’ve got to find a new strategy and forum for your concerns expressed here. There is NO Constitutional right to privacy (not in there anywhere) but there is being a proactive consumer and holding those responsible responsible for their transgressions. This starts with you.
I have an elderly client who is collecting under his State Farm long term care insurance. I am trying to do a very simple ting–have his payments deposited directly to his savings account. I have spent 3 days on the phone with his agent and State Farm offices in Greeley Co and New Albany OHIO.
So far EVERY employee of State Farm has told me that they cannot do this and have no idea how to get it done.
Maybe Mr. Tipsord knows the one person somewhere in State Farm who knows how to do this.

I paid to have restricted certified mail sent to Michael Tipsord CEO I watched them stamp this and tell me nobody was to sign it but Michael .We have been so wronged by state farm that we have even contacted the president and been contacted back by them. I sent information of facts and their is more. This was for Michael and the board members .I now don’t even know if the ceo or board members got my packet. The guy that signed my card is not on the list of board members .When I called the number nobody seems to know him. therefore I am going to get all my information and take it to Washington.they asked for more info and wanted to see if there federal agency could help us.this is not just about us.you picked the wrong person to lie on and mistreat .we say we live by jeremiah 29:11 and romans 8:28 .35 yrs we have been in ministry and helped others .your company has tried to destroy our life.God has a plan nd he turns everything around for our good .I advocate for poor people being wronged.i have researched your company .we are not the first ones yall have done this to .I want leave one rock unturned.you don’t know me .I tried to give you a chance to fix this . I will change the laws for people being mistreated , I am saving every thing I find on my computer.i even found a comment from ceo to another client telling her about fault and he told her a scenario which was my husband situation and said he was not at fault and I saved that. I have also called 5 media and one finally is talking to me and I am going to show them that..
