Ironshore Inc. has introduced a new boat and yacht insurance program in collaboration with the National Boat Owners Association (NBOA) to be available nationwide. Ironshore Premier Watercraft program, which will be offered exclusively by NBOA, provides comprehensive cover for watercraft valued below $750,000.
Ironshore Premier Watercraft coverage options are designed to provide insurance protection to meet the needs of boat owners for smaller boats and yachts to be underwritten as an agreed-value policy. The coverage can include a sport fishing endorsement, occasional charter excursions, captain and crew liability, and navigation extension to the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos, among others.
“Our exclusive program with NBOA will enable Ironshore to provide comprehensive protection for owners of recreational boats and smaller yachts that travel in waters along coastal areas, as well as inland locations nationwide,” said James Bishop, product line manager of Ironshore’s Luxury Yacht unit.
