FFA, Planet would rather couch it in terms to make us “racists”. By the way, I have plenty of Latino’s on the books for personal lines. They don’t ask me about Health Insurance and I don’t bring it up. In fact, I don’t bring it up with any customer. I am P&C all the way now and I like it that way. Obamacare is a disaster of biblical proportions and has done nothing but divide this country, hurt the economy and I don’t want the E&O exposure. I know you tried to make it work and gave it a shot and was bitterly disappointed with the result.

Disappointed that I bit on one of many lies – Full New Business Commission at 15% to find out Obamas “full Commission” is only 5%.
Yes, every agent was lied to regarding that aspect.

FFA, do you remember the push to appoint Navigators to assist applicants? They didn’t even run background checks on those people. They could have been identity thieves for all we know. There is no telling how many people got screwed up information, ended up with plans they have since found out doesn’t pay anything and had their identity compromised.

If your referring to me, I appear to be the only agent in this mix putting business on. Until you have the experience with this that I do, you have no room to speak. I go through the training not once (personal license), but twice (Corp License) every year as do my employees.

Would you rather have some random person on a 800 number to talk to or an office to walk into and see the person you are giving your personal info to face to face?

You go ahead and call some random person. The horror stories from them folks keep piling up and up and up.

Until you are experienced with this, your comments / opinions are not worth the time to type it out. So go ahead and blast on the only person with actual working experience on a regular basis. I could use a good laugh.

Confused, your leftist mind is working overtime insulting me. Background checks do work for legitimate gun owners who follow the law. The thugs buying guns out of a car trunk don’t bother with anything. The background checks are useful to see criminal records, offenses that would disqualify them to be Navigators. We will never know since no background checks are done on these individuals.

The inference was very clear Planettroll. You expect me to feel guilty about not signing on to Obamacare and trying like FFA did to make it work, spending all those hours trying to help someone for a paltry 5% commission and have all the problems, issues, with customers? I sleep very well indeed for not getting involved with the worst legislation ever passed and signed into law.

Hi FFA. I am going to enjoy watching the PGA Championship from Sheboygan, Wi this week. That is one rugged golf course at Whistling Straits right on the shores of Lake Michigan. One of those 1%’ers that Ron loves to hate owns the course, Herb Kohler of plumbing fixtures fame who is worth about $4Billion. I would like to take some of the Progressive idiots and flush them down Herb Kohler’s toilets.

Actually FFA, Whistling Straits is quite a great course and he also owns another at Black Wolf Run near by. They have had 3 PGA’s at Whistling Straits in 04,10 and now this year. They have an overage of bunkers on it to suit me and admitted they think about 1,000 of every shape and size. I would hate to think how high the scores would be if the wind is up coming off Lake Michigan.

HMM, Ron. Did you suddenly have an “Epiphany” or is this post a brief pause before you start a new attack? Forgive me if I am skeptical. I am still amazed at how you voted for Obama twice since he is the biggest race baiter, divider by economic class and also by gender. How can you have your current attitude and still think he was the answer? It all comes down to knowing right from wrong, simple as that.

            Agent,

No epiphany. This is who I am. I am a Christian who believes hate is a waste of emotion. I have never intended to attack you, I was just defending myself from your attacks. You are the one who started with the character attacks calling me a Progressive, Socialist, Liberal Democrat, when I have clearly stated that I am an Independent who believes in lower taxes, smaller government, and reduced spending. I just want to have an honest debate where we can challenge each other and respond civilly and with substance.

I really do not know how many times I can say this, I have been disappointed with President Obama and never said he was the answer. My position has been and always will be that one person will never be the answer and the we give presidents too much credit and too much blame. They are not dictators or kings.

At the risk of giving you a heart attack, I am starting to like Ben Carson as a candidate, not just as a Republican. For me, he comes right after Scott Walker.

I am a little concerned about his flat tax plan though. It is wealth redistribution upwards because it increases taxes on the bottom 43%, including military personnel, senior citizens and the working lower and middle classes, in order to lowers taxes on the top. In addition, it would harm the economy by taking money out of the private sector and hand it over to the government.

He said the number, to remain revenue neutral, is between 10 and 15%. For my family, we would give the government at least $6,500 more which is $6,500 less than what I currently spend in the private sector. Multiply that by 5 million households and you have over $32 billion transferred from the private sector to the government.

However, I believe it is a moot point since I do not think it would ever get through Congress and implemented anyway.

            For the last time:

The 43% pay nothing. His plan gets their skin in the game, it is not in order to lower taxes on the top.

Also, now you’re a Christian, eh? Why don’t you call yourself a Catholic, if you are one as you previously claimed?

I once called you a Catholic apologetic, you were not true in faith.

As for not hating people, you can wrap your hate in bows, but you do hate.

That much is very clear. Your hate is why you are clouded in politics.

            Welcome back bob,

All Catholics are Christians. You do know that, right? I identify myself as a Christian first, with Catholic beliefs. I believe you be hard pressed to find anyone 100% true in their faith.

I know what he wants to do, and I do not necessarily disagree that more people should be paying federal income taxes, including myself. I am only pointing out the potential consequences to the economy when 43% of the country takes over $32 billion out of the private sector and hands it over to the government. Don’t you see the potentially adverse impact this could have on the economy? Who would you rather had that money, the private sector or the government. Those are the only 2 choices.

Who are you to tell someone whether they hate or not? I may disagree with you and dislike your approach to debating, but I honestly hold no ill will or hatred toward you. I would much prefer that we could debate civilly and without insults.

I am well aware of the back story of Christians Ron.

And I am well aware of why young people don’t call themselves Catholic. I call it Catholic apologetic for a reason, and you are educated enough as a Catholic (if you’re a real one) to know why I called it that. Or are you really not enough of a Catholic to know? I really doubt it. Any Catholic knows enough to know why I just said what I said.

“I am only pointing out the potential consequences to the economy when 43% of the country takes over $32 billion out of the private sector and hands it over to the government”

If you were only pointing that out, you would have only pointed that out. You instead talked about redistribution again, which this is not redistribution.

I directed what I needed to direct. I am also not ok with a Flat Tax and some reasons match yours. Calling it redistribution is completely not accurate though.

“I am a little concerned about his flat tax plan though. It is wealth redistribution upwards because it increases taxes on the bottom 43%, including military personnel, senior citizens and the working lower and middle classes, in order to lowers taxes on the top”

So then this whole phrase is what I directed. You twisted it to mean that. Making sure the lower class pays some sort of tax is not wealth redistribution.

And making them pay taxes does is not to make the wealthy pay less.

You’re being dishonest, and you’re pulling at emotional strings at the same time.

Considering liberals do this a lot, and you hate republican tactics more than liberals, I imagine it is due to what you perceive as being acceptable as to why you’re doing it.

Well your perception is wrong. The way you argued there is unethical. And when you get a republican wanting to essentially insult you after doing it, that would be your fault.

Instead, you generally see people as agent who are angry as trolls, rather than what you did to piss them off.

            bob,

Let’s agree to disagree what constitutes a redistribution of wealth and leave it at that. Neither of us will ever change the other’s point of view on that matter. I know your position and respect why you see it that way. In addition, my post was not directed toward you.

You said, ” Making sure the lower class pays some sort of tax is not wealth redistribution.” I agree with you. And if Mr. Carson’s proposal was only to accomplish that, I would not say it is a redistribution of wealth. However, his plan does reduce taxes on the wealthy, by a healthy margin. He even said his goal is to be revenue neutral. That means if someone is paying less, someone else has to pay more. Correct?

Agent has created his own messes and you know it. I am only there to point them out.

You being a Catholic know exactly what Agent would be in the Catholic Church and what your role is in talking to him.

These are not solely his messes. You choose to talk to him the way you do.

I’m sorry but you’re not getting off the hook on it.

Agent would be the equivalent of a strict Catholic, forth coming, outspoken. A no BS attitude.

What does the Church tell us to do with such people?

            Question their character?
            Call them a hypocrite?

I think not. Agent is fully complete on his own, and it’s clear you don’t think of him as such. You think of him as nearly handicapped.

Moving forward on wealth redistribution: So ignore the entire debate by saying let’s agree to disagree when you’re wrong. I see.

            Well I can’t argue with that so I won’t.

Please do not comment on my history debating Agent. It is not your place.

Unless your are God, you are no position to judge anyone.

I did not question Agent’s character. He is a hypocrite and has been proven to be by several people on this blog. Do you disagree that he is hypocritical sometimes?

You said, “Agent is fully complete on his own, and it’s clear you don’t think of him as such. You think of him as nearly handicapped.” What do you even mean by this statement?

I tried to end our debate on what constitutes wealth redistribution civilly, and you chose to insult me. Nice. I even explained that I understand your position. This is the problem with you and Agent. I try to have civil discussion and you feel the need to insult me instead. Is that what Jesus would do? How Christian of you both.

            Confused,

I know you’re delusional and all, but I’m a little tired of arguing with someone of your intellect and general antagonizing level.

When I have told people their argument is not productive, for example, you consider it the same as someone coming in telling Agent, solely, to stop insulting people?

It isn’t. I tell people to stay on topic. That is essentially all.

            In other words:

If I’m having all insults and no facts, I will tell someone: “Address the issue”.

That is telling them to stay on topic, it is not telling them necessarily how to talk.

When I have told agent not to say things a certain way as it doesn’t help his case, it’s the same thing.

            It won’t help his case.

How should I word it confused? How do you propose it?

Use some examples of when I have done what you state. Then you’ll see I always say, this isn’t relevant to the conversation at hand.

And I’m the ONLY person here who says it at both sides.

So while your attempt to lump me as some conservative hypocrite is comical, it is also annoying kid.

you want examples of when you’ve told people how to talk? easy. just looking at the most recent article with the most comments, let’s see what I can find for you

            http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/national/2015/08/05/377569.htm/?comments

Here you are specifically telling someone what they can post: “The only words for you here are : I AM WRONG and I AM SORRY”

Here you are telling someone they’re stupid and have no right to get upset (you’re telling someone how to act here) “You need to just understand how the world works more and not get so riled up about it.”

Here you are insulting someone and telling them to post ‘on topic’ when it was Agent who was making all the off-topic comments: “That is not honest debate. Stay on topic. His silence is due to being done with your stupidity.”

and that’s just in one article

            See my other comments.

I decided to direct your post, it doesn’t make me a hypocrite. I don’t want to direct your posts. It takes too much time for what shouldn’t be an issue, of some kid trying to incite a fight in order to discredit another human being. And lets not kid ourselves, that is your goal here. To discredit my character to gloss over all my arguments.

What I told people there is not at all similar to what was said above.

When it comes to how to treat me, when I demand someone say they are sorry, that is not dominating them as you imply. How dare I tell them what they can say. Or…How dare they say the crap. I don’t ask to be treated well. I demand it. Telling someone they have to say sorry is not what you just tried to make it out to be. Dishonest moron.

            Moving to the other example:

I told her “You need to just understand how the world works more and not get so riled up about it.””

Is not telling her how to talk, I’m sorry, it’s not. It is telling someone not to get riled up.

I have never said “Celtica, don’t speak.”.

Yes. We will all say what we want. That doesn’t point out my hypocrisy. I finally told you just get it all out there. Go ahead. My saying I don’t want to deal with it doesn’t mean I’m saying not to speak. I am saying I’m sick of it, that doesn’t make me a hypocrite. It was to tell everyone here, who treats agent like crap, that it isn’t ok to treat him like crap.

I disagree with him often. He’s blunt and in your face.

But I see those here who try to do this stuff confused is now, he’s finding an in to label me the ultimate troll, the ultimate hypocrite, why exactly?

Look at the motivation factor. It is because he wants to give reason to attack and disregard a human being.

I disagree often. I throw in insults when I shouldn’t. I admit, and I move on.

This confused guy, and you, are just saying to stop saying insults, to basically discredit the person you’re saying it to and make people think less of them.

When I disregard an insult, or say to stop insulting, or even when I insult, it is to disregard their ignorant argument, not the person. I don’t have time for such debates here.

Changing one’s mind does not make them a hypocrite.

            Look at the definition.

            Moving on:

Generally speaking, someone who bullies speaks like you. In control, that is your goal. Someone who says all caps, SCREW YOU! Isn’t the bully. Those people are always left to the curb. I’ve been bullied so I know how dominance works and how I broke it.

““So how did I just become a hypocrite by telling you to talk?”

you didn’t. i called you a hypocrite for saying “I won’t even direct it” then two minutes later posting twice directing it. you can back track all you like and make excuses for why you did it after you were called out on it, but you can’t hide the truth – you said you weren’t going to do something then you immediately went and did it anyway. that is hypocritical no matter how you try to justify it”

You said you would CONTINUE to point out I was a hypocrite. Your example cited above is not an example of being a hypocrite and was not what you were referring to.

It’s getting old Confused. What else do you have to say?

Regarding your paraphrasing of my quotes, which I what I think you were doing there:

No. That isn’t bullying. When someone lies about their words and I point it out, I don’t say all caps @%#@#% you I know what you say, first of all, but second of all, it wouldn’t be bullying even if I did that.

I am calm first, pissed when someone says a sly one liner in order to try and make me look like a fool. When someone comes in trying to make someone look like a fool in public, remind me what they are?

Usually when you see someone bullying you see one kid saying “SCREW YOU LEAVE ME ALONE”. And you see another guy saying “Hahaha, he’s saying I won’t leave him alone, he’s a hypocrite, I’m not doing anything! Look how pathetic he is”

The way you deal with a bully isn’t showing they are pathetic. It’s showing them that they are worth every bit as much as you. That’s right. Leaving on a positive tone.

Now yes, I get mad, but I give every opportunity for someone to stop. When you constantly degrade my image I then say “screw you”. Then I give another chance to be respectful. And if they don’t take it I do another swing. It’s a defensive type of thing. I show I won’t let someone dominate me, but I will submit provided the person stops.

Another example of your ignorance. I don’t put words into their mouths. If you read the rest of that, I told him I hold people accountable for things they said when they try to back out of it later due to their words not being popular.

When someone clearly said something, I hold them accountable.

I do not, randomly say : Agent says this.

Look at your example. Out of nowhere a guy said what I was saying on something I never even directed.

While you are too stupid to see the difference, it does exist as a difference and is not hypocrisy. Moving on connecting that to now: I was not telling you what you meant. I was stating what you said. You definitely said you would continue showing my hypocrisy. You were not quoting my hypocrisy regarding the issue you said you were. It is easy to see you are saying that in hind site. I’m holding you accountable because you’re bluntly lying. That isn’t putting words in your mouth, if it is accurate that you’re bluntly lying. It wouldn’t make me a hypocrite.

I can’t believe how much you’re trying to pull for me putting words in your mouth and me being a hypocrite. I know the motivation behind it, and it is bullying behavior.

Bob, you and I have gone back and forth on this a number of times. You do put words in people’s mouths, and you do tell them what they really mean by their comments. And when people disagree, you tell them that they just don’t realize what their own thoughts and motives are.

“This is a scenario where you want them to shut up you just don’t realize it.”

Those are your words Bob. Your words telling me that I didn’t know what I was really thinking.

You rail about people ‘labeling’ this, that or the other thing, but you are the worst offender of anyone on here. You have slapped a label on every person that comments here, and read each comment through the filter of that label. And those filters make you twist even the most innocuous comments into something you can attack over.

For example, Agent and I said the same thing about how the Republicans could repeal the ACA – win the White House. And while you agreed with him, you continued to blast me in numerous comments for saying something you claimed to agree with! That’s not ‘holding me accountable,’ that’s attacking just for the sake of attacking.

If someone says “I don’t like cheese,” you don’t automatically assume that they hate everything about the state of Wisconsin because it’s residents are called ‘cheese heads.’ You just assume that they mean that they don’t like cheese. Same thing goes for discussions here. Stop debating people based on what you think they might mean, and start debating them based on what they actually say. It will cut way down on these sorts of arguments.

Hey Ron, what a joke. I have created messes????? Your belief in Progressive Socialism and the Progressive Tax Code and the wild Keynsian spending machine of the Federal Government is where the messes have been made. You don’t have any skin in the game so you are totally unqualified to comment on taxation. The thing that worries you is that a flat tax may require you to pay “some” tax. If a flat tax will result in cutting loop holes out, it will generate more income and a commensurate cut in excessive spending will allow a balanced budget to be done (post Obama). We have almost $19 Trillion in debt as a country and are spending borrowed dollars. What if China cuts us off due to their own economic problems which is being manifested as we speak? Who is going to fund the government then? Is your answer to print more money like the Weimar Republic prior to WW2? That didn’t work out so well, did it?

You know what fellas, all this nonsense and word parsing and accusations and tantrum throwing is getting very old with me. I include Bob, Confused, Rosenblatt in the group. Making a mountain out of every mole hill is a very unattractive quality. It also reveals the deep division we have in this country. Progressives on one side, Conservatives on the other. I believe the root cause is that Progressives really don’t want to admit that their agenda is unraveling before their eyes. Obama was a huge mistake and everything he has done has divided the country by race, gender and economic class. It has not been a good 7 years and people are at each others throat constantly. I hereby request that you stop it. I am not going to stop giving the Conservative viewpoints and you should respect my opinions and you should offer valid arguments for your point of view without the usual attacks.

Bob, Progressive Leftists do not know right from wrong so that is why they don’t understand us. They lose every argument because they can’t explain why their way is better. The ones on this blog are just attack dogs, character assassins and have been thoroughly brainwashed. I speak more bluntly than you do. Don’t expect to get anywhere with any of them.

First, I do know right from wrong. If I didn’t, I would have at least served some jail time. In addition, I do vote mostly for Republicans. Second, I completely understand you. I just do not always agree with you.

The worst you ever say about him is that he has “disappointed” you some. Hello! You and Planet are operating in a different universe. You claiming you are a moderate is the biggest joke on this blog and Bob has dismantled you every time.

Bob, actually I am an unapologetic Protestant. Many do not like my blunt talk and I don’t parse words or make a mountain out of every mole hill like many of the leftists on this blog do.

We need more plain talk about how much trouble this country is in due to the terrible policies put in by Progressives, mostly Democrats in the past 20 years. The past 7 years has been a major train wreck and the wreckage is strewn from shore to shore. Bad leadership begets bad policies and we have an abundance of bad leadership which is downright awful. I look forward to a new day dawning starting in January, 2017.

Lowest labor participation rate since 1978, 46 million on food stamps, record applications for disability, companies moving offshore because of excessive taxation, EPA killing jobs with overbearing regulation, entitlements galore, no immigration policy and inviting illegals to come in and draw entitlements. What a track record!

Forgive me Ron, but your apology is not honest. You have spent nearly 7 years touting Obama, defending his leftist agenda, wild Keynsian spending, moronic policies and I don’t think you have changed a bit. For someone who has, as you put it very little power, he has sure made a monumental mess of things, defied laws on the books, failed to enforce laws he didn’t like, tried to rule with the pen, threatened veto’s with anything Congress wanted to pass that was not in his agenda. The US is the laughing stock of the world now with how stupidly this man has governed.

You are not the monitor Ron. To help clear up your cluttered mind, following is some food for thought. Your President that you voted for twice is a Saul Alinsky follower and Hillary wrote a college thesis on his works, the most famous being “Rules for Radicals”. Within that book, he wrote – How To Create A Social State.

      1. Healthcare – Control Healthcare and you control the people.
      2. Poverty – Increase the poverty level as high as possible. Poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything (entitlements) for them to live on.
      3. Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level… that way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
      4. Gun Control – Remove the ability for citizens to defend themselves from the government. That way you are able to create a Police State.
      5. Welfare – Take control of every aspect of people’s lives (Food, Housing & Income
      6. Education – Take control of what people read and what people listen to – take control of what children learn in school.
      7. Religion – Remove the belief in God from schools and the government.
      8. Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent, and it will be easier to take (tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Ron & Please, do you have the message yet on what is going on in this country? Do you think Progressive Socialism is “good” for the country as presented by this President and his minions? Your answers should reveal much.

Hi FFA, Isn’t it amazing that some on this blog can’t understand simple concepts of right vs wrong, moral/ethical issues? I guess it goes back to how they were raised, educated, no church background or guidance. Some are atheists and that is a big issue since they believe in almost nothing, think humans have no soul and dolphins are equal to humans. What a sad existence that must be.

Please, I am consistently on the “right” side of issues and Ron is consistently on the “left” wrong side of issues. I wish you well on your quest for knowledge and perhaps a light bulb will go off over your head one day.

Jesus was left on the issues. Was He wrong?

So listen to whats going on in IL now….
The Dems passed a bill to exclude the Gov from budget negotiations. Rauner Vetoed it. The Dems voted to over ride the Veto.

Rauner wants Comp Reform and Property Tax Freeze. The Dems want to spend $4Bill more then what the State has to spend.

Hi FFA. It looks as if Illinois wants to be our version of a third world country. They are prime examples of Progressive Socialism, Keynsian Spending, High Taxation and overbearing regulation. With all the business you listed moving out, who will be left to pay all those high taxes? What is 100% of nothing?

FFA, with what is going on around this country, we have several states doing the Illinois way of thinking. They have adopted the Federal Government way of thinking and it is all about what they can get from the taxpayers with higher taxation, ever more entitlements. After a while, no one will be left to tax and then where will they be?
