Are we talking about cars or my relationship with my wife?? At first there was plenty of idling while I was waiting to get anywhere with her. Then it ran pretty hot! But after a few years she’s slow and saggy and now I am thinking about upgrading to this cute little Italian model.

      Hibbsey:
Try Viagra first, perhaps your wife is saying the same about you?

Oh the SP500 outperformed classic cars over your conveniently handpicked period 3Q08-3Q09? How about the nearby period 5/1/08-2/1/09 when the SP500 declined 47%?

And this is an IJ article because…what? I need somewhere to ‘park’ all my non-existent bonuses?

Any collectible is going to be a highly risky “investment”

Collect what you like, but don’t expect to retire on your hobby.

Looking closely at the articles photo, I think I see a row of Beanie Babies on the rear window deck…

Though people love their classic or luxury car, there are those that are only interested in the glitter of the advertised direct insurance companies. These base their auto coverage needs on publicized price rather than doing the research on the value that their car represents and what can happen with inadequate coverage.
