Football is still the greatest sport, but it has gotten too violent, both on and off the field. They need to get rid of the hard hitting and enforce tackling only or a shove out of bounds as the only acceptable means of taking down a player. Even little kids are trying to hit opponents real hard.
Jack, I promise you that if they were forced to play with leather helmets like the old days, they would be too afraid to tackle with their heads and we wouldn’t have any concussion problems. The players have had the false security of a plastic helmet and thought it would protect them. Not so much.
