Sounds great for those that suffered a physical loss due to the ignition failure and cover up. How about the monetary loss of value for those that own GM products. Other than GM, other dealers don’t want my trade or undervalue it as no one wants to buy these used cars. My loss in value is just as real to me as those that were physically injured.

Perhaps Obama will allow another “Cash for Clunkers” program so everyone can get rid of their defective Government Motors vehicles.

Saw a pretty blue Cobalt on the highway yesterday.

Was the ONE vehicle I made sure to pass, and QUICKLY.

This is redicilous. The inanimate corporation and it’s innocent shareholders did not make this criminal choice. This was a deliberate choice made by one or more GM executives. Likely they saw this as the road to propmotion or bonuses.
A proper punishment would be a fine paid by the individual and not reibursed by GM and this should also include better public service and maybe some jail time for these executives. Otherwise, such behavior will contiue.

Who gets the money from this Criminal probe, Obama? They could recycle the defective cars in the scrap heap and make more defective cars. It certainly doesn’t give one a warm, fuzzy feeling about Government Motors.
