    Not at all surprised to read this. Attorneys have collaborated for decades on inventing ways to access other sources of income, even to the point of inventing maladies like cancer-causing cell phones. If anyone maintains that tort law is a form of justice, then their lives have not yet been touched by a trial attorney. Unlike criminal law, where one is innocent until proven guilty, when you’re sued you ARE guilty until you spend enough time and money to either negotiate a conclusion or the fortuitous results of a jury. Win or lose, both sets of lawyers laugh all the way to the bank. This is why Tort Reform is so important……

      I agree, but try to get Tort Reform done with a Congress crawling with lawyers. That is why Tort Reform was not put into Obamacare. They will never want to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.
