I totally agree with the thought that “hands free” devices are nearly as distracting as hand held devices. I notice it with various navigation systems I have used. But as distracting as these navigation systems may be I know they are less distracting than the old fashioned paper map in your lap or worse yet in your hand method.

Dave, the technology freaks out there would tell you that they can handle it whether it is hand held devices or hands free devices. They are wrong, of course. These people are so distracted 24/7, the last thing they think about is safety. That call has to be taken, that text has to be answered, immediately.

Latest gossip??????? I’m afraid this article is deadly serious about the dangers of cell use in a vehicle. Does your little brother text and drive currently?

I just spilled mustard from my hot dog all over my GPS while I was swearing at it. Whoa, had to swerve away from the guard rail. Sorry.
