Specialty insurer Hiscox has appointed Rick Wong as National Broker Relations manager and David Bailey as Southwest regional executive for Hiscox USA.
Wong previously served as regional manager for Hiscox USA. In his new role, Wong will be responsible for play a key role in implementing national broker strategies, as well as working with the regional business leaders and underwriters to develop local and regional broker relationships and strategies. Wong will report to Brett Sadoff, Hiscox USA’s head of field.
Wong has worked at Hiscox for several years in various roles. In his most recent role as regional manager he has been responsible for managing a regional underwriting team in New York. Prior to that, he was assistant vice president for Hiscox USA and led two teams of underwriters across the Northwest and Southwest regions.
In his new position, Bailey will be a key player in expanding and growing the Southwest region and will lead a team of underwriters in the region. Bailey brings 15 years of industry experience and was most recently the chief financial officer for Hiscox UK and Europe, where he was responsible for accounting, actuarial, mergers and acquisitions and analysis. Prior to that role, Bailey was finance director for Hiscox Europe.
Hiscox USA specializes in the small and middle market segments.
