The billionaire investor’s Omaha, Nebraska-based firm said it owned almost 11 million shares at the end of September, the company said Monday in a regulatory filing. That compared with 12.6 million shares in June.

Berkshire also said it owned 59.3 million shares of AT&T Inc. Berkshire owned 31.4 million shares of DirecTV in the previous period. AT&T completed its deal to purchase DirecTV in July, in a transaction that gave DirecTV investors AT&T stock and cash in exchange for their shares.
