I know two people who drive for Uber. Its a second job for both and they like the extra money. But they basically make minimum wage and that is before the cost of gas and wear and tear on their autos. I love using Uber but if you ask me its a very poor business model for the drivers.

FLagent- driving for them is voluntary. What do they expect? $15 an hour ? You know America is in the shitter when voluntary workers “demand” more.

It is starting to sound more and more like a taxi company, isn’t it?

Each time uber drivers win something in the courts, Uber comes out with a new clause in their driver contract, forcing drivers to give up their new found rights. For example: class action status in California.
