Wall Street May Create UK-Like Registry of Misbehaving Bankers, Traders

    The insurance industry needs something like this for misbehaving Brokers and Underwriters. I’ve always felt that U/W’s should have an electronic chip inserted under their skin so every account they ever wrote would stay with them and could be reviewed by any prospective employer. So many U/W’s (especially on the Casualty side) have gone from company to company every 3-4 years outrunning their losses. It should stick with them.

      You are right Dave. I would throw the Actuaries in with the underwriters. Their computer models and Price Optimization schemes have been very disruptive to the market.
