Will the coverage extend to drones being shot down for snooping over someone’s property?
Intentionally illegal acts are normally excluded in insurance policies, so generally speaking – no, there won’t be coverage in your hypothetical. If the drone was delivering a package to a home and the homeowner shot it down, I’d imagine that would be covered and subrogation potential would exist.
