This report doesn’t surprise me one bit. Millenials are the worst and Gen X not far behind. They shop online, lie and deceive on info and then it gets caught in the underwriting process. What carrier would want to be on that business with a lying customer? If it is bad enough, they get off the business. GEICO often quotes without running reports and shows a lower premium. When it hits the fan, the customer gets an ugly surprise. Then, the Millenials can cuss them out and tell them they are being unfair.

So when Confused, UW & Ron go online for their monoline Auto quote, they lie, deceive hoping it won’t catch up to them.

It doesn’t surprise me either. The Insurance comparison industry bases its KPI on number of leads. Marketing around leads get you these kind of numbers.

We tell clients the cost of this is directly related to increased cost of insurance for liability. Hiding licensed drivers, putting kids as living at grandmas, etc. is pervasive. It belies a breakdown in the moral fiber of the society. Our icons make it clear that if you can game the system, you win. Where I work every prospect seems to try and work the “secret” angle.

FFA, we have had almost 8 years of this dude lying about everything he has touched. Progressives like the lie and try to pull the wool over the folks eyes on every subject. Unfortunately for them, the folks do have a way of waking up as per recent elections. I am counting the days down until the next election. As nasty as it is, anyone with an R is better than anyone with a D next to their name.
