With the AIG records trail, external records (Gen Re, others?) that may have been kept, AND the witnesses (AIG, Gen Re) who will make deals with the prosecutor, HG is likely to do a plea deal to end this case, after several futile attempt by his legal team to get it thrown out, using typical legal dodge & stall tactics to elongate the pre-trial fandango among the dueling attorneys.

It’s unclear as to whether or not the two old codgers are the only defendants. I’ve got to get my paws on the filing papers, which should be online somewhere….

So, no; I don’t think the grim reaper will end the misery of this case for HG. He will, once he runs out of legal maneuvers.

I thought all the Gen Re people who were accused of orchestrating the other side of the $500 million deal had their convictions overturned on appeal. Who is the AG accusing Hank of conspiring with, himself?

I realize that (Gen Re), but think there must have been someone who is involved from AIG that couldn’t escape this latest suit. Why would only the two old guys be the only defendants from AIG? You don’t negotiate a big contract like this through only the CEO and CFO. At least it doesn’t seem so.

My guess is that this guy has spent more time in court than any 10 other major CEO’s in the country. He is a walking court case. The lawyers under retainder have some serious job security.

With all due respect, Trump is not a major CEO.

Your cough is reminiscent of Hillary’s. It usually follows a hyuuge lie…. as opposed to a typical, run of the mill, Hillary lie.

Yogi, it appears the lies of Hilliary are trying to get rid of the lies they already told. The “it was allowed” is getting a bit old, don’t you think when it was clearly not allowed. Some of her employees are now taking the 5th rather than spill the beans. What a fiasco.

Hillary’s crew has taken more Fifth’s than all the winos in a city outskirts neighborhood with a dozen discount liquor stores.

Yogi, I think a lot of people have seen her cough when at a rally or trying to debate Bernie. Perhaps she will withdraw from the race with health issues about the time the indictment comes down.

Hank Greenberg and Howard Smith have contributed to the global economic collapse of 2008 because of their own greed. Both of these scoundrels also do a horrible job in heading up the current “Starr Companies”; the company is just a huge revolving door as employees are wrongfully removed without remorse,
