Here we go again. “Scientists” creating health links to climate change.
The Vibrio species naturally lives in salt or brackish water. Obviously, the water warms up during the spring and summer months making the likelihood of getting this bacteria a lot easier.
Maybe, just maybe, the increase in cases is because people are consuming more raw fish (sushi consumption has increased at least 28% in the US alone from 2010-2014). I was always advised to never eat raw oysters in months that don’t have an “R” (May, June, July, August). I was just in a restaurant that was serving them in the heat of July.
There is nothing in this article saying whether the study identified the time period in which these increases took place or how much was attributed to food consumption. They did mention that swimming related cases were up in Europe during heat waves (WOW…who would have thought that people might be swimming more during heat waves???).
Let’s not also lightly pass by the statement “But most cases aren’t confirmed by tests and reported.” So, once again, the “scientists” are drawing conclusions on a guessed diagnosis. This sounds too much like the “estimated temperatures assigned to areas based on averages of other areas”.
Obama and HilLIARy will be out there soon saying we won’t be able to go to the beach because of climate change.
Thank goodness the athletes and fans are heeding the warnings and there hasn’t been any cases yet. The conservative right wingers are making this risk up and the leftists can’t blame it on Bush.

It’s obvious that HilLIARy, Wantstobeaman-Schultz and the DNC are quickly trying to tie up lose ends to avoid losing the election and going to jail. I bet there will soon be a major computer malfunction at the DNC where “hackers” toasted their hard drives.
integrity, I can see the presses of the EPA churning out thousands of pages of new regulations to “regulate” every aspect of our lives. Those Progressive bureaucrats do it to justify their existence and follow the orders from their master Czars in the basement. Won’t it be nice to be rid of them in a few short months and firing the head of the EPA which should have happened long ago?

The same polls had Trump losing many of the primaries that he ended up winning. Democrats and their minions in the press are trying to have a coup in this country. How many people attending or participating in the Rio Olympics have contracted a food-born illness or the Zika virus? Zero.
