I kept expecting this article to somehow segue into an insurance themed essay, since this is more or less an insurance related periodical, but we never quite got there. Fortunately, it didn’t devolve into a political diatribe on the evils of humankind on the planet either. While there are lots and lots of directions this discourse could go within the realm of risk management, perhaps there are still too many ‘what ifs’ to adequately address those.
Many thanks for not making it a political issue.
It’s understood that there are droughts and some hot temperatures, but strangely enough this summer has been uncommonly cool in West Texas this year. Our temps will not exceed 90 degrees all week and that’s about 10 – 12 degrees below normal for us. We are not complaining though.
Perplexed, some don’t seem to understand that there are 4 seasons and each have their period of time. Summer=hot, Spring=Storms, Fall=Cooling down, Winter=Cold. It is not man’t fault. California’s problems with water are well known and they have the same brush fires every single year and then blame it on climate change instead of proper control of brush and water conservation.
