Not on public roads. Perhaps in a gated community or a golf resort. I do think Golf cart sales will go up with a Trump Presidency.

This is an Insurance publication, yet this article does not mention the word “insurance” nor discuss any insurance aspects of operating golf carts. Why did you even publish this article? I think we all know what a golf cart is already……

This article is an opportunity missed. As Ken says, there is no discussion of the insurance connection to the topic (coverage gap for golf carts on public roads). I was also expecting the article to explore the fact that this is one of the best use cases for autonomous vehicles. The problem is the elderly (and other people unable to drive) need to go places. The geographic concentration of this need in places like Sun City make a great business case for a fleet of autonomous vehicles. The fleet operator would presumably insure the vehicles perhaps spreading the risk with the manufacturer.

As I tell my 94 year old mother: “slow and steady (and look 5 times 3 ways before making any crossings) gets you to the early bird special intact…”
