“Whether it’s integrating drones into the national airspace, deploying self-driving cars or “some other new technology, she’s not going to be especially inclined to second-guess the industry when they say that this will be safe,” McGarity said.”

Uh-oh, Agent. Looks like you’re just going to have to trust the autonomous vehicle manufacturers and the drone manufacturers when they tell you their product is perfectly safe. And, do you know why OSHA sucks? Because they try to keep employees alive and uninjured. Who needs ’em anyway?

Said one cooperative’s general manager to our loss control rep, “If an employee dies while on duty, we just look for another one.” Sounds like he’d prefer Margie. And yes, we walked away from that prospect.

Uh-oh, Planetarium; it looks like the public will be telling manufacturers about their faulty products by not buying those that prove to be unsafe.

Eliminating the bureaucracy involved and letting the public decide what they think is safe and effective is much better than letting the government bureaucrats try to do it and often fail.

The safety experts aren’t infallible. Accidents and ‘excrements’ the public suffers will result in eventual, proper rejection of dangerous and ineffective products.

So, what do you tell the families of the first X many who die as a result of using an autonomous product that didn’t go through proper checks and balances? “Sorry for your loss. They were good guinea pigs. Our hearts and prayers are with you.”????

I’m not asking for governments to tell us what is and isn’t safe. I’m just asking for appropriate oversight to make sure we don’t have a bunch of Drumpf U scammers out there trying to rip the public off with a faulty product.

The major difference in grieving is that The People were grieving along with Republicans and Conservatives. The evidence is the control of BOTH Chambers of Congress, and a hyuuuuge majority of Governors and state legislatures by Republicans over the last 2 years, building gradually over the full last 8 years.

Fortunately, those same ‘not smart’ people were smart enough to be able to fill in bubbles with ‘Rs’ next to them, with a pencil or pen, pull a lever under the letter ‘R’, or punch a hole in a card with a name with an ‘R’ next to it.

Actually Yogi, your statement about the number of R votes is false. Clinton now leads the popular vote by over 2.5 million, despite 868 less polling places and all the other Republican efforts to suppress votes. I think what you meant to say is, enough electoral college votes went to R. And, that’s true. Which is why Drumpf is our President. Let’s see what he can do.

How many Illegal Aliens voted? Link to Obama’s encouragement for such: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAgD9X0iVfI

Obama doesn’t say so explicitly. It is a veiled suggestion that is clear if you listen to his exact words in their sequence.

FURTHERMORE, The Electoral College System results in SUPPRESSION of VOTES in states that are clearly biased toward one side; i.e. the voters in the minority in deep red or deep blue states will not bother to vote. This is a STATISTICALLY PROVEN EFFECT, based on the hyuuuuge majority enjoyed by Republicans in STATE Congressional bodies and Governorships.

You may have your MEANINGLESS ‘safety blanket’ (popular vote majority) if it provides you a ‘safe place / sanctuary from conservative rule’.

“Obama doesn’t say so explicitly. It is a veiled suggestion that is clear if you listen to his exact words in their sequence.”

So you are admitting that he did not actually say what you alleged him to say. How about we take people at their word instead of trying to create false intent?

If there is no proof that millions of illegals voted, stop saying as such. Even in the event President Obama flat out told, without reservation, illegals to vote, you would still need proof that they actually did vote.

You may have your MEANINGLESS ‘safety blanket’ (popular vote majority) if it provides you a ‘safe place / sanctuary from conservative rule’.

Interesting how the right loves to bring up how we need to respect the opinion of the majority, until it goes against them. The point is that President Trump needs to respect the fact that the majority of voters voted against him and his agenda, and that he cannot govern solely for the minority that did vote for him.

If president Obama did not have a mandate, neither does President Trump.

Your side won. Time to prepare your defenses in the event President Trump’s policies fail. I predict, and I may be wrong, that we are going to have some very interesting conversations in 3 years.

We will see how EVERY citizen’s freedom and liberty is addressed by this administration.

I am clearly saying that Obama VEILED his suggestion to avoid accusations by law enforcement agents that he suggested ILLEGALS may vote without repercussions.

Don’t put words in my mouth, or twist my words.

You are afraid to admit what transpired in that exchange between a LEGAL citizen reporter and Obama in regard to ILLEGAL ‘citizens’ (translation: non-citizens that Dems want to give Amnesty) that she may know personally, or other ILLEGALS. It is your right to deny reality if you so choose. But don’t involve me in what you believe.

Addendum; how can anyone know ILLEGALS voted if they are undocumented?

There is no proof that ILLEGALS DIDN’T vote illegally, either.

Voter COUNTS in SOME counties are known to EXCEED registered voters, or nearly reach 100%, whereas a typical election involves 50% or 60% or 70% of registered voters participating in the vote.

The reason the ILLEGAL VOTE counts are unknown or unproven is that it is A MOOT POINT NOW SINCE TRUMPRESIDENT won!

            Further, liberal sore losers CONTINUE to mis-direct attention away from THREE ABSOLUTE truths;

            1. Hillary got more total UN-AUDITED votes than PresidenTrump,

            2. The Electoral College System DISTORTS and SUPPRESSES vote totals since voters in deep red or deep blue states who are in the minority in their state will NOT vote because it means nothing.

            3. The Electoral College System is the determinant of which candidate becomes the US President, not the popular vote. This is a sign of the genius of The Founding Fathers, who devised the EC to avoid tyranny and mob rule, and provide more power to individual states than exists through their (possibly significantly shifting population). The EC was inspired by a desire to AVOID the corruption that would result if citizens voted for FEDERAL benefits for themselves through a popular vote total of ALL SEPARATE BUT UNITED STATES.

The Founding Fathers were intelligent enough to realize citizens of the USA could move from one state to another, depending on their preference as to how EACH state/ commonwealth governed itself, and the implied impact on their quality of life.

I expect this edifying post to IMMEDIATELY receive multiple thumbs down votes from LIBERAL’s BOTS due to their fear of the truth.

You said, “Don’t put words in my mouth, or twist my words.” I wonder how President Obama would respond to how you put words in his mouth and twisted his words.

Can you quote one person saying that Hillary Clinton should be the POTUS since she won the popular vote? You are totally missing the point.

You said, “The Electoral College System DISTORTS and SUPPRESSES vote totals since voters in deep red or deep blue states who are in the minority in their state will NOT vote because it means nothing.” If that were the case, why does anyone outside of battleground states vote at all? People make their decision on whether or not to vote based on several more reasons other than that.

You cannot ignore the fact that more voters went against Donald Trump than for him. Even if you assume 3 million illegals voted, you do not for whom they voted. In addition, there were over 7.6 million who voted for someone other than Trump or Clinton. That means more than 10 million voters selected someone other than Donald Trump. How is he to unite the country if he ignores the voices of that many people?

Congratulations President-elect Trump. But you have no mandate.

Fortunately, those same ‘not smart’ people were smart enough to be able to fill in bubbles with ‘Rs’ next to them, with a pencil or pen, pull a lever under the letter ‘R’, or punch a hole in a card with a name with an ‘R’ next to it.

        Oopsy!

Hey DePolar, our new President elect doesn’t care much for the cost of the two new AF1’s that Boeing was counting on. Something about budget over runs making the cost at $4 Billion for two airplanes. He said to cancel the order. Also, it seems that the Defense Dept hid some reports that revealed they had something like $125 Billion in waste and corruption under who else, Obama. Wow, how many swamps need to be drained? Something tells me that we wouldn’t have the budget deficit at all if a businessman was in charge. Not to worry, the new Sheriff is in town starting on 1-20-17.

Shame on President Obama for not discovering and putting an end to military waste under his watch. If we hear about government waste in 2-3 years, will it still be President Obama’s fault or will you hold President Trump accountable?

You said, “Something tells me that we wouldn’t have the budget deficit at all if a businessman was in charge.” At what point should we expect to see a budget surplus? Just want to know when we may fairly judge his results.

Trump may have some precedent if he ultimately decides to nix the Boeing deal. President Obama in 2009 canceled the program to replace Marine One when the cost of the 28-helicopter fleet ballooned from $6.1 billion to $13 billion.

Ron, how about “Mad Dog” Mattis to clean up the Pentagon? A tough Marine should be able to get a handle on this and hire someone with business experience to get rid of the spending largesse of Democrats. Get that budget and go over it with a fine tooth comb just like a CPA does with business. We have to cut off a huge slice of fat out of the budget. The time to do it is now, not after another 4-8 years. The Federal Government is like an albatross around the neck of the citizens. We hired Trump to do this and he will although he will have opposition. All Federal Departments and agencies should be cut 25% in the coming years. That, along with a recovery in the economy will be making America Great Again. Agree or disagree, I couldn’t care less.

Ron, I hate to tell you this, but the swamp is huuuuuuuge and all departments will be under scrutiny by the new appointees on their budget, spending, number of employees. Jason Chaves has a new aggressive approach to reduce the number of government employees. One might be for every new hire the departments make, they have to eliminate 3 jobs. Not to worry, the jobs will be out there in the private sector, but they will have to work for a living like we do.

Clinton now leads the popular vote by over 2.5 million, despite 868 less polling places and all the other Republican efforts to suppress votes. So DePolar, why did the Federal Judge shut down the re-count in Michigan? Was Trump pulling farther ahead on the invalid ballots of Hilliary? Man, those Democrats just could not rig this election no matter how hard they tried. Give it up liberals.

DePolar, many on the left object to Trump using Social Media like Twitter and Facebook to get his message out. He has about 40 million followers now. Seems to me the best way to communicate with citizens instead of facing the jackal media in a press conference and have them filter it through their agenda to publish distortions or fake news. This is refreshing to say the least. Don’t think many of these people will be invited aboard AF 1 on trips either. Let them arrange their own transportation from now on.

Carrier just said he lied about saving over 1,100 jobs. Ford said he lied when he claimed he saved a plant from moving to Mexico. The Mexican president said he lied when Trump said they didn’t talk about the wall even once.
