The past 8 years has been virtually a state run media with Obama and the Dems. The main stream and online media not only perpetuated fake news, they manipulated the news stories and sound bites to fit their agenda. They perpetuated the lies that this administration FED them and they were given the questions the administration wanted to ask.

From my viewpoint, both sides are trying to control the media, which I am against. A duly elected official of the United States of America not even allowing an American citizen, with valid media credentials, to ask a question is a direct assault on the 1st Amendment. That is not debatable.
Are those public or private colleges. Please provide your source.
If they are private, that is their choice. If they are public, I find that indefensible and should be found to be unconstitutional.

In addition, due to the Internet, it is far too easy to find someone else post information, that may or may not be true, but supports one’s narrative. That happens on both sides.
President-elect Trump not allowing questions from anyone with valid media credentials is unacceptable, period. Can you find one time when President Obama did this?
Donald Trump is our newly elected President. I have NEVER said otherwise, have not whined about it and accept him as my president. However, that does mean I will not hold him accountable, as I have done with President Obama.
I do not recall the Republicans accepting President Obama as their president and willing to unify behind him. What goes around, comes around.

Regarding the President not allowing the press to ask questions, this happens at every press conference. There are dozens of press attending and only a “select few” ever get to ask questions.
I am absolutely for the press and every American to hold Trump accountable. But I also agree that EVERY person has the right to defend themselves against unfounded and unverified slanderous attacks. Respect goes both ways. If the press wants Trump to treat them with respect, they should do the same to him.
The left would be in an uproar if the press ever treated Obama the way they treat Trump.
I am not a Trump fan, but the arrogance and hypocrisy being displayed by the democrats and media is appalling and embarrassing.
FYI, Republicans and people on the right accepted Obama, just not his policies, lies and complete contempt to uphold the Constitution of the US. Ron, I agree his behavior was despicable. Of course a lot of Trumpkins said Clinton was crooked for enriching herself, even though she made money as a private citizen, but now they overlook Trump’s conflicts of interest, violations of the Emoluments Clause. His promises to refrain from profiting and stay away from his business interests are as empty as the paper in the folders he had at his carnival.
Also, he lied, which most of the Republicans ignore, and I believe are fine with. He said CNN published the report which was fake news, they didn’t this isn’t even debatable. They reported that intelligence agencies had briefed Trump and Obama on the report because they found it credible; they did not go into the salacious details of the report.
Another reporter at the BBC has independently confirmed with 2 sources that there is intelligence indicating that Russia has tapes of Trump from when he was in Russia; Trump claims this isn’t true because he’s a germaphobe, but that hasn’t’ stopped him in any of his numerous other extramarital affairs, nor did it stop him when he sexually assaulted women, which he bragged about. He also claimed he is always careful, but the guy was caught bragging about sexual assault when he was wearing a lapel mic, he isn’t intelligent enough to be careful.
Because of all of this Trump is attacking the media hoping the most uninformed idiots follow suit, and it seems to have worked–unsurprisingly–with many here. Trump has said he wants to make it easier to sue media (I’m sure many would LOVE to get into discovery with Trump), is considering kicking the press corps out of the White House, and attacked Obama saying at least Putin was strong when asked about Putin murdering journalists.
You are right, Trump is an authoritarian, and if he could, he would be a dictator based on everything he has ever said.

I wonder who those 10 Democratic Senators who live in states who voted but voted against Obamacare repeal are and what they were thinking. Their voters stated very clearly and loudly that they want it gone. But they went against their voter’s wishes.

This is as I projected; i.e. several bills addressing individual issues for a replacement strategy. One example is tort reform bills, and another is the nature of the solution to the adverse selection issue in conjunction with pre-X conditions and a take all comers provision that would normally scare off private insurers.

Wow TrumPolar, the Trial Lawyers Association are not going to be happy campers if Tort Reform goes through since they have been in the pocket of Obama for 8 years. Of course, they are all liberal Democrats who like the gravy train on their suits. If we had a mass exodus of trial lawyers along with the Hollywierdo’s, that would be fine with me.
They’re not going after all lawyers. I suspect it will only be tort reform as regards medical malpractice, with limits on awards for punitive damages, or novel ways to enforce punitive damages. There’s an amusing four word term used, which I can’t reveal now, per my promise. It might have been ‘censored’ or changed by the politicians reviewing it these past few weeks.
I didn’t believe this story at first, but I am starting too based on the credibility of the person who put it together, and the hints by the intelligence community and the people, both Republican and Democrat on the Intelligence Committee. I did wonder why Trump was so excited about this, and now it makes sense:
The more disturbing story are the new allegations from multiple sources that Trump agreed to change positions on Russia’s involvement in the Ukraine in exchange for them giving the Democratic emails to Wikileaks to leak. On top of that there is ample evidence he took foreign money from Russia (including that he solicited foreign leaders for money during the campaign). If the story about Wikileaks is true–as many have stated, it is treason. Also, we know Trump had been briefed on Russian hacking of the DNC emails before he openly called on Russia to hack Clinton. If it comes out that his campaign did indeed communicate with them, and then encourage an act of war, again it is treason, and he must be impeached, and then tried and punished for treason. He is an illegitimate president regardless.

Let’s do some math to prove Pelosi Galore has no clue about what she is implying. The statement that the 2008 DEFICIT of 1.4T was reduced by 70% means it is ‘now’ .42T. However, a DEFICIT is a ONE YEAR stat.
The DEBT increased under Obama by 9.3T, from 10.6T to 19.9T. Dividing 9.3 by 8 gives 1.16T.
So, Pelosi Galore’s math indicates a $.42T deficit ‘now’, but the AVERAGE DEFICIT over 8 Obama years was 1.16T, a 17.2% reduction, not 70% reduction.
Conclusion: Nancy Pelosi Galore is either a dunce, a liar, or both.
I contend it is ‘both’.

From my viewpoint, both sides are trying to control the media, which I am against. A duly elected official of the United States of America not even allowing an American citizen, with valid media credentials, to ask a question is a direct assault on the 1st Amendment. That is not debatable.

Regarding the President not allowing the press to ask questions, this happens at every press conference. There are dozens of press attending and only a “select few” ever get to ask questions.
I am absolutely for the press and every American to hold Trump accountable. But I also agree that EVERY person has the right to defend themselves against unfounded and unverified slanderous attacks. Respect goes both ways. If the press wants Trump to treat them with respect, they should do the same to him.
The left would be in an uproar if the press ever treated Obama the way they treat Trump.

Of course a lot of Trumpkins said Clinton was crooked for enriching herself, even though she made money as a private citizen, but now they overlook Trump’s conflicts of interest, violations of the Emoluments Clause. Also, he lied, which most of the Republicans ignore, and I believe are fine with. He said CNN published the report which was fake news, they didn’t this isn’t even debatable. They reported that intelligence agencies had briefed Trump and Obama on the report because they found it credible; they did not go into the salacious details of the report.
Another reporter at the BBC has independently confirmed with 2 sources that there is intelligence indicating that Russia has tapes of Trump from when he was in Russia; Trump claims this isn’t true because he’s a germaphobe, but that hasn’t’ stopped him in any of his numerous other extramarital affairs, nor did it stop him when he sexually assaulted women, which he bragged about. He also claimed he is always careful, but the guy was caught bragging about sexual assault when he was wearing a lapel mic, he isn’t intelligent enough to be careful.
Because of all of this Trump is attacking the media hoping the most uninformed idiots follow suit, and it seems to have worked–unsurprisingly–with many here. Trump has said he wants to make it easier to sue media (I’m sure many would LOVE to get into discovery with Trump), is considering kicking the press corps out of the White House, and attacked Obama saying at least Putin was strong when asked about Putin murdering journalists.
You are right, Trump is an authoritarian, and if he could, he would be a dictator based on everything he has ever said.

The other day, the black lady volunteered that she had to have surgery at the hospital. She was extremely upset about her deductibles and co pays and out of pocket expense with this surgery under Obamacare, but she still didn’t blame the guy that brought that grief to her. At least she didn’t blame Trump for it. I think she thought it was the evil insurance companies who were responsible. The same companies who had to comply with the law.
Odds are (that never happened, but let’s assume it did) – odds are that lady didn’t have any insurance coverage before Obamacare came along.

This is as I projected; i.e. several bills addressing individual issues for a replacement strategy. One example is tort reform bills, and another is the nature of the solution to the adverse selection issue in conjunction with pre-X conditions and a take all comers provision that would normally scare off private insurers.

The more disturbing story are the new allegations from multiple sources that Trump agreed to change positions on Russia’s involvement in the Ukraine in exchange for them giving the Democratic emails to Wikileaks to leak. On top of that there is ample evidence he took foreign money from Russia (including that he solicited foreign leaders for money during the campaign). If the story about Wikileaks is true–as many have stated, it is treason. Also, we know Trump had been briefed on Russian hacking of the DNC emails before he openly called on Russia to hack Clinton. If it comes out that his campaign did indeed communicate with them, and then encourage an act of war, again it is treason, and he must be impeached, and then tried and punished for treason. He is an illegitimate president regardless.

Let’s do some math to prove Pelosi Galore has no clue about what she is implying. The statement that the 2008 DEFICIT of 1.4T was reduced by 70% means it is ‘now’ .42T. However, a DEFICIT is a ONE YEAR stat.
The DEBT increased under Obama by 9.3T, from 10.6T to 19.9T. Dividing 9.3 by 8 gives 1.16T.
So, Pelosi Galore’s math indicates a $.42T deficit ‘now’, but the AVERAGE DEFICIT over 8 Obama years was 1.16T, a 17.2% reduction, not 70% reduction.
Conclusion: Nancy Pelosi Galore is either a dunce, a liar, or both.
