The subsidies never went into affect. They were done last minute purely for political gotchas like this so when Trump cancels them before they start, low information voters like this can say “see he doesn’t care about the little guy”

If this were truly a priority or a good thing for the housing market why did the outgoing administration wait 8 years before they put it in place? I seem to remember a few years ago when we incentivized subprime lending, how did that end up?

These aren’t subsidies, so you are wrong, obviously. The FHA reached their 2% threshold years faster than expected so there have been calls to do this since before Trump wob. Not everything is a conspiracy to make him look bad. Even if that were the case he could just keep them, and not look bad.

Also, idiot, the Obama administration does this by a pretty large amount last January as well, and then did it again based on the 2% threshold being met.

You are clueless on this topic, you ain’t know the absolute basics on what the program even is or the history of the policy, all your are doing is pushing a BS conspiracy theory grounded in ignorance.

You avoided the question about the 8 year delay by Coward Obama?

The name ‘subsidies’ being inappropriate does not invalid the points made by Brain.

You lost. We won. Deal with it or leave for a Socialist country, like many of you Libitterals said you would. So, some of you ‘bitter clingers’ LIED… again.

Finally, the BHO Administration watched the after-effects on the US economy of the sub-prime mortgage mortuary, and ignored them to pursue this fiasco. Luckily, it has been swiftly squashed by the TrumPresidency Administration.

That’s not the issue. For guys who whine non-stop about tax increases that don’t touch most of the population you sure are happy to let middle class people get screwed. The program is years ahead of the financial goals it had set.

No, the comment above mine was an opinion, supported by history.

i.e. those who cannot afford a house payment should not get a mortgage for ‘social equity’, as per Bill Clinton’s agenda.

The FACTS that back it up are evident in the mortgage meltdown, as I pointed out in my ‘mortgage mortuary’ comment above.

Pay attention in the future, because I’m not going to keep repeating statements from various posts to appease you.

Let’s be clear, it’s not going to COST us an extra $500 in 2017. It’s just not going to SAVE us $500 this year. You cannot expect one individual to save us all in the first few days in office. How about we save ourselves from making purchases we cannot afford? Who’s fault is that? He is only reversing last minute attempts a saving a failed 8 years. The former President had 8, yes 8 years to save us middle class Americans an extra $500. Why did he said until last week???

UW/Planet/Celtica – So it was okay when Obama raised them when the FHA needed a bailout of over $1 billion? Even if Obama’s intentions were noble (which I doubt), it just goes to show that he is very short sighted and that action could cause another future problem.

Also, just because it meets the MINIMUM 2% threshold, it doesn’t mean a reduction is necessary or required. I guess everyone not ever having any personal auto losses should all get reductions, right? You’re not much of an underwriter, UW, if you think this way. The FHA needs the capital for future problems.

Yes, if there is a shortfall raising them can be fine, if your are years ahead of projections for your goal and already above the limit required they should be decreased. Try to see beyond your need to see everything based solely on how it can “prove” Obama was bad and intentionally trying to harm Americans.

All this is intended to do is make bank loans selling their own product more competitive, it is a price increase at the expense of workers in favor of the banks. This also hits more expensive liberal cities, where more people want to live, and land costs more, harder. Many of those see an increase of $1200-1500.

Good, he should have demanded Israel stop all illegal settlement building and all illegal occupation of Palestinian land and stopped all military and financial aid if they didn’t. If that did not work he should have worked with the UN to send peacekeepers there to enforce the laws and the agreements Israel signed. He also should have prosecuted Republican legislators who circumvented US foreign policy by telling Israel to do things against official US policy.

UW – You are either so misinformed or an anti-Semite.

First of all, Palestine is a region in the middle east and was never a “state” or “country”. Palestinians are a group of people from that region.

Second, Israel has given them land as part of a peace effort that they can call their own. It is not “good enough” for them and they (Palestinians) continue to terrorize the Israeli’s because they also want Jerusalem, among other areas. Jerusalem has historically belonged to the Jews.

Third, Israel would be content to have the Palestinians live peaceably among them, but the Palestinians won’t do it. Therefore, Israel is constantly having to defend their people because of the Palestinian terrorism.

The new black panthers are trying to get the US government to give them portions of MS and AL. I guess we should just do that so they can become their own country.

Obama’s last minute actions are continued evidence of his disregard for the rule of law and his abuse of power. The Congress put a hold (Freeze) on that money because of actions taken by the Palestinians. Obama usurped Congress’ authority and sent the money anyway while everyone was busy with the inauguration. Obama deserves to be investigated for a variety of things and if found guilty, he should lose any benefit he is supposed to get. He will someday be known as the most corrupt president ever!

It’s very sad that his narcissistic attitude and ideology got in the way of truly becoming a great president.

Fuck you integrity,I’m not an anti-Semite, I am against the war crimes, human rights abuses, and violations of treaties by Israel.

Palestine is recognized by 136/193 nations in the US and is a non-member observer state. So right off the bat, not open to debate, you are wrong and don’t know the basics. In the ’30s there was an area called “Mandatory Palestine” and there were other Arab states there before, it was taken by the West and given to Jewish people to form a state consisting of Arabs and Jews, and the Jews have illegally persecuted Arabs and installed an apartheid state.

“Second, Israel has given them land as part of a peace effort that they can call their own. It is not “good enough” for them ”

Wrong. Israel illegally took the settlements and built there, evicting Palestinians. This is illegal in both the UN and through the agreements signed by Israel. They have violated their agreements. It is still happening today. On top of that their attacks have been beyond proportionate. Israel has used white phosphorus in response to “rockets” that were fired a few times a month and harmed almost nobody. These are unsophisticated weapons and Israel responds by using chemical weapons against civilians.

Saying there was no state there is moronic, BTW. Arabs lived there, and had the right to organize their affairs as they wished, but they were forced into a state and Israel has abused their power and lost the moral authority they had 60 years ago.

Israel is STILL building in the areas you claim as justification for their right to behave this way. They have also done things like arbitrary checkpoints that abuse Palestinians, splitting land to inconvenience them, etc.

You don’t even know what is going on with the example you cite as proof they are doing what they should. There are seemingly no war crimes people like you won’t support as long as they are done by the right people.

Also, you clearly need to abandon the garbage sources you use on this topic, because this wasn’t illegal. Some members of Congress put a hold on the aid money, but it is nit binding and completely up to the president to hear them out or not. They usurped their power in the Constitution to steal a Supreme Court pick, so he shouldn’t have honored their hold, and as I said, I think he should have done much more in response to Israel’s illegal actions. I also think he should have used the plan many wrote about to have Biden call Congress into session and appoint his Supreme Court appointee and the hundreds of judges Republicans blocked through obstruction.

You couldn’t be more wrong in this and don’t even know the parts you cite as proof.

I forgive you for your vulgarity. I know you can’t help yourself because that is how many people on the left react instead of having a civilized discussion or debate.

FYI, just because the UN has 70% of the nations recognize Palestine, it does not mean they should automatically get whatever land they want. Answer me this question, if 70% of the UN recognizes the New Black Panthers as a “nation”, should the US be forced to dissect a parcel of land chosen by the NBP and give it to them?

Land in the Middle East has come and gone through many countries hands. Israel’s land has been theirs since Joshua lead them across the Jordan River. Please direct me to a historical map that showed the recognized boundaries of the country known as “Palestine”.

Please also tell me how Israel lost their “moral authority” years ago. You also speak of alleged war crimes committed by Israel which is obviously propaganda. If that was proven, that “formidable” UN would surely step in and take charge.

Here are the facts: Palestinians continue to repeatedly terrorize the Israeli people with bombs, grenades, blowing up innocent people on buses, etc. Israel retaliates with a swifter and harsher response. You call Israel’s response “beyond proportionate”. I call it self-defense. When will the Palestinians learn that Israel is more powerful than they are? Israel has never (to my knowledge) started or displayed unsolicited aggression towards Palestine. They have always reacted.

I suggest you check your history books (and not the ones that the left is trying to re-write) and your sources. Palestine wants Jerusalem and only a fool would argue that the Jews are not the rightful owners of that city for centuries.

“FYI, just because the UN has 70% of the nations recognize Palestine, it does not mean they should automatically get whatever land they want. ”

True, but I don’t see anybody arguing that, so it’s irrelevant to this discussion. What I am saying, moron, is that they should adhere to international law and the treaties they have signed. Nobody is saying they should get whatever they want. You seem to have a SEVERE problem with either reading comprehension or basic logic. Also, imbecile, you conveniently ignore the part about being an observer member of the UN which goes against your point. Clueless.

What an astounding coincidence, which group do you compare to them? Native Americans who were in the US before it was a country, making it a good analogy? Nope, black people, because you view both negatively and can’t go one comment without making up fictions about black terrorists here. Can’t ever say conservatives are racist though. Also, the analogy is so stupid it is astounding. Arabs were there long before Jews, but you can’t fathom it because your can’t look to anything beyond the Bible.

“You call Israel’s response “beyond proportionate”. I call it self-defense.”

So does almost the entire rest of the world. The UN Security Council, which the US didn’t block declared the construction and seizing of settlements illegal, and a “flagrant violation” of the law. It passed 14-0. The UN found evidence of war crime by both sides, but specifically said Israel’s were far worse, and more widespread.

“Israel has never (to my knowledge) started or displayed unsolicited aggression towards Palestine. They have always reacted.”

Like I said, COMPLETELY uninformed. I don’t know why it is has to be said so often with uninformed conservatives here, but not knowing something doesn’t make it untrue, it just means by definition you are ignorant. Israeli military and police have limited free movement in order to harass Palestinians, have done unlawful and arbitrary detentions and more. It is known for a fact they have engaged in widespread torture, including to children. They have not opened a single investigation into ot despite 1000 requests and complaints. You are wrong or you support torturing children, please explain why.

They have also assassinated people unlawfully and engaged in widespread killings, including children. Again, are you wrong or do you support killing children?

The list goes on and on, but you aren’t educated enough to discuss it, eg, ‘show me a map’ and you think ignorance is the makes something true.

As for the UN not stepping in, it is mostly because of the US and trash like you. They have cited these numerous crimes and have referred it to the International Criminal Court, but now Trump will most likely stop it based on how comments during the campaign, and if course uninformed people who at the very least overlook the killing and torture of children, like you do, will cheer.

You know less than nothing and would be better off sitting on the couch staring at the wall than listening to the garage outlets you get your information from. Don’t comment on topics you don’t understand, it wastes our time.

            UW,

Once again, you are misinformed or you are taking the tactic that the left takes by providing a partial truth, which is still a lie.

Here is a link, using the same website YOU PROVIDED, showing the origin of Palestine.

            http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/origin-of-quot-palestine-quot

The origin of the word only dates to the 5th century BCE. It’s not even debateable that Israel existed before then, unless you are re-writing history.

Second, a “settlement” is not a country. That region got its name because of the topography and what the people were called migrating through the region.

Third, the UN has NO POWER to tell ANY sovereign country what to do. Being a UN “observer member” does not invoke any rights for that country over another country.

Fourth, I did not purposely set you up about the anti-Semite comment. You stepped into that one on your own. I did, however, purposely set you up by using the New Black Panthers as my example instead of the Native Americans.

Here is the article about the NBP’s wanting 5 southern states to form their own nation.

            http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/07/10/exclusive-new-black-panther-leader-country-within/

This is from the NBP site:

            http://www.nbppnational.org/principles

With regards to the Native Americans, they have sovereign nation status within the US. Land that the US has designated to be theirs. Do you think the US govt should obey an order from the UN “forcing” them to give them more land? What do you think the US would do with that request?

The native Americans have more of a right to land in the US than the Palestinians do in Israel.

I’m not saying that makes it right, because it doesn’t. My point is that neither the UN nor ANY OTHER COUNTRY has the right to tell any sovereign country what they should do with their land.

Now that I have proven you to be misinformed, are you man or woman enough to admit you were wrong?

FYI, I am not a racist. Every human being has inalienable rights given to them by God, regardless of their color.

Regarding the rest of the BS you spouted, you need to learn to not believe all the propaganda you are fed. If children are getting killed, it is because the cowardly Palestinians are hiding behind them. Israel is not purposely killing children any more than any other country that is involved in war.

Please also take note that I did not have to come down to your level and use foul language to make my point.

First, a “settlement” is not a country. Using the same website you referenced, here is a link to the origin of Palestine.

            http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/origin-of-quot-palestine-quot

As you can see, “Palestine” only dates back to the 5th century BCE. It’s not even debatable that Israel existed before then. Additionally, Palestine refers to the topography of the land and what they called the people migrating through that region.

Second, The UN has no power or authority to force any sovereign nation to do anything. Likewise, an observer member has no power or stature.

Third, I did not set you up regarding the anti semite analogy. You walked into that one on your own. I did, however, set you up regarding the native Americans.

They are already recognized as a sovereign nation. However, what do you think the US would do if the UN said we must give them more land? The native Americans have more write to this land than the Palestinians do in Israel. Our govt would not do a thing. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m merely pointing out that the UN has no authority to dictate to other countries.

Regarding the New Black Panthers, here are links to what they want and their website. I did not make up that story and I am not a racist.

            http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/07/10/exclusive-new-black-panther-leader-country-within/

            http://www.nbppnational.org/principles

Regarding the rest of the BS you spouted, it only proves that you believe the propaganda fed to sheep like you. If Israel has killed children, it is only because the cowardly Palestinians are hiding behind them. They are not purposely killing children.

Show me one credible news article where Israel attacked the Palestinians when it was not provoked.

The executive order line is idiotic, this isn’t a program designed to be tweeked by Congress, it is designed to be changed in exactly this way.

The NYT is generally respected, but all sources make errors and should be viewed critically. For example, they reported rumors, lies, and hyped the emails and Comey stories about Clinton during the entire election. You push anything you disagree with as fake news: Trump says it and you idiots are saying it dozens of times a day immediately. You aren’t only uninformed, but so uneducated and so intellectually lacking you are not capable of looking at this coherently, so you just pick your side and repeat what they tell you word for word.

Fake news is not an error in reporting, it is a story pushed specifically to get people to believe something that isn’t true, eg climate change does not exist, Clinton is in a pedophile ring, Obama is foreign, Clinton has Alzheimer’s, millions of illegals voted, or Trump’s inauguration crowd was one of the biggest ever.

No, imbecile, the Benghazi example is not fake news, the CIA confirmed it was largely due to a video. Even if you disagree with that, there was in fact a protest due to the video, and there were protests over the same video in other places. Even if you think the reason was something else and the initial reporting was wrong (which isn’t the case) they were reported what was believed at the time, not creating lies to misinform people.

The emails prove my point, there was nothing truly scandalous in there to anybody who follows politics even a little, but, the constant hype around the emails made them seem much worse than they were. Consider for a second, imbecile, that Comey commented on the emails like they had a criminal investigation while remaining silent about multiple investigations into the Trump campaign for possibly colluding to release the emails, and taking money from Russia, and potential blackmail tapes, and more, and you still whine about emails that showed little to nothing. Trump called on Russia to hack and release information from Clinton, a former Secretary of State, after he had been briefed they were responsible for the earlier hacks, in order to help himself. That is possibly treason and was barely covered, but the degenerate label anything they disagree with fake news. Your are on here defending lying about the size of the inauguration crowds, your are a joke man.

With Earnest, we knew he wasn’t.

With Spicer, it seems like the earliest part of TrumPresidency will be a short war with the dishonest media members. Once they learn to be journalists rather than political commentators disguised as reporters, the American people will get much more important information about what our Federal government is doing instead of hearing Spicer defend TrumPresident for most of the pressers.

The only person taken into custody from the attackers who were there says it was. “Innocence of the Muslims” from Wikipedia,

“On September 13, protests occurred at the U.S. embassy in Sana’a, Yemen, resulting in the deaths of four protesters and injuries to thirty-five protesters and guards. On September 14, the U.S. consulate in Chennai was attacked, resulting in injuries to twenty-five protesters.[14] Protesters in Tunis, Tunisia, climbed the U.S. embassy walls and set trees on fire. At least four people were killed and forty-six injured during protests in Tunis on September 15.[6] Further protests were held at U.S. diplomatic missions and other locations in the days following the initial attacks. Related protests and attacks resulted in numerous deaths and injuries across the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and Afghanistan.”

So all of those events were in protest to the video but at the same time, events in Benghazi had NOTHING to do with the video? C’mon man…

Trump’s inaug pic was taken THREE (3) HOURS before he took the oath of office. Why would the ENTIRE crowd show up so soon and stand in damp air or rain?

Day by day, hour by hour, TrumPresident will take steps to restore America to where it was before Obama’s destructive tenure. Later, he will make it greater than before Obama. Did you even listen to the ENTIRE Spicer presser? Or was it a MSNBC sound bite?

If you listened to the entire press conference, Spicer said:

            1) He corrected the claims about the ridership because they were given incorrect information initially (Note he owned up to a mistake, something that was foreign to Obama’s administration.)
            2) He said the people on the grounds were greater than what the liberal media was reporting but less that Obama’s.
            3) Worldwide, he stated there were more viewers watching in total than Obama’s.

Realistically, # 3 is obvious since technology is better than it was 8 years ago.

#3 – clearly you’re including Twitter’s live stream in this count, which requires further analysis.

            a) Did you go back to Obama’s inaugurations and add in the online viewers to his total? For example, he had 21 million viewers just on CNN. Did you add that in?

            b) Did you identify other potential high view count web streams for Obama (e.g. MSNBC) and for Trump (e.g. FOX) or are you just stopping at Twitter counts?

            c) Online viewership is measured different than television. Web sites measure the total number of people who click on a video but not the total number who view in its entirety. Nielsen, on the other hand, takes such factors into account before estimating total viewership.

There are three numbers in play here: people who showed up physically, people who watched it on TV, and people who watched online. Each number is calculated differently.

A twitter “viewer” could’ve watched 3 seconds of the event and it’s counted, but they wouldn’t be counted as a TV viewer if they turned off the TV after seeing 3 seconds of the event.

If you’re going to say there were more worldwide viewers for Trump than Obama, you MUST include ALL THREE numbers.

Fact: Obama had more people show up to his event
Fact: Obama had more people watch his event on TV
TBD: Who had more online viewers?

To determine the last, we need to know ALL of the potential online sites (CNN.COM, Twitter, FOX.COM, etc) and can’t just rely on one online source as the grand tally of online viewers.

Just to make sure I understand your thought process here, Yogi…

IM reiterates a claim about inauguration numbers without any statistics or source quotes, and that’s okay for you.

I explain the difference between calculating (a) actual people who showed up, (b) how TV viewership numbers are recorded and (c) how online viewership is calculated.

You then tell me I have to find the stats to prove my point, which IM didn’t do in his original argument and my post didn’t say I agreed or disagreed that Trump’s online viewership numbers were a worldwide record – just that we need to be mindful about how those online numbers are determined.

So it’s okay for IM to make a statistical argument without providing evidence but it’s not okay for me to explain how the numbers he may be looking at probably aren’t complete – without providing statistics to prove a point I never made (Trump vs. Obama – who had more online viewers)?

            Let’s start over then.

IM – you claim “Worldwide, he stated there were more viewers watching in total than Obama’s.” Please provide your statistics and evidence to support this claim, making sure you include not JUST twitter viewers, but all the other viewing sources available for online viewers (e.g. fox.com, cnn.com, etc).

Geez man, you keep trying to argue something that wasn’t being discussed until you brought it up. Relax. Not every post is a fight. Let me try making my point again.

IM said “Worldwide, [Spicer] stated there were more viewers watching in total than Obama’s.”

My reply literally was “To determine that, we need to know ALL of the potential online sites (CNN.COM, Twitter, FOX.COM, etc) and can’t just rely on one online source [Twitter] as the grand tally of online viewers.” THAT WAS THE END OF MY REPLY.

Quote me where I claimed Spicer or IM was lying (I didn’t = you can’t). Quote me where I implied Obama had more worldwide viewers (I didn’t = you can’t).

Before you got involved in the conversation and brought up stats, quote me where I requested anyone provide stats to prove their argument (I didn’t = you can’t).

I simply explained (1) how online viewers are calculated differently than TV and (2) all websites need to be tallied to figure out who had more worldwide online viewers and we can’t simply rely on only one site’s (Twitter’s) numbers.

            Confused –

My comment was simply to set the record straight on what Spicer said because UW and Celtica were only quoting a portion of the news conference.

My opinion was that it was logical that Trump would have had more viewers because technology is better and that there are more online news outlets.

You make a great point regarding how the different outlets “count” a viewer. You could be right that Obama had more viewers. Personally, it is a pissing match that I really don’t care about. Neither side truly knows how many people watched and getting an accurate count is next to impossible.

I think we all need to ask the following questions:
            1) So what??
            2) Why does the liberal media care and what point are they trying to make?
            3) Why does Trump care?

The answer to #2 and 3 seem to be tied together. The liberal media is still trying to delegitimize Trumps presidency by alleging that not as many people watched the inauguration and Trump is trying to set the record straight.

In the end, he is the president and whether people did not show up because they didn’t vote for him or because the weather forecast was bad, it doesn’t matter.

Bottom line so far, Trump has accomplished more for ALL AMERICANS leading up to and in his first few days as President than Obama ever did.

No one but the Liberal Main Stream Media (who was soundly rebuffed by PresidenTrump; i.e. rude CNN reporter) cares about the crowd size.

Crowd size was an issue the LMSM tried to use, with inconsistent use of the stats, to try to diminish the Trump victory and de-legitimize his Presidency because they (LMSM and their cohorts, the Dems) are frustrated to be ‘out of power’.

About the CIA employees. When in the presence of the president they don’t sit unless instructed to do so, meaning they stood the whole time. Everybody not in the Trump administration said most didn’t applaud, however the crowd he brought, and paid, as usual cheered, laughed and applauded at the end. Then they told him he got the greatest standing o since Manning and this lunatic-tac (great term, bravo) believed them.

He is literally insane, he has to be removed through impeachment because of his violations of the Constitution or being unfit for office, or Amendment 25, Section 4 of The Constitution.

            Hey Twilter,
Dishonest Dumb Donnie Tic Tac’s own staff say he can’t stop watching Faux News or TV in general. I love what Seth suggested, “Did anyone try hiding the remote? Like, under The Constitution?”

TrumPolar, you have a unique skill to get under the crybaby’s skin. They cry and downvote your comment 94 times in a few minutes. They are on the wrong side and deep down they know it, but their wounded ego’s won’t admit it. What a sad life they lead and they stay depressed every day of the week.

Our new, strong President is doing all the right moves to restore the country whether they like it or not. Mr. President, put the pedal to the metal.
