“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump said. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”—————————— Simply tweek the legislation to assure that about 24 million more retain coverage, regardless of their ability to pay. That would satisfy Donald Trumps’ campaign promise and solve the problem. Right?

President Trump has been proven to be a pathological liar. Yet his sheep will keep defending him.

He makes promises he cannot keep and accusations for which there is no proof.

I gave him credit for coming across as presidential in his address to Congress. Unfortunately, he has gone back to being Donald Trump. That is what happens when he is not reading words written by someone else off of a teleprompter.

Anyway, I believe Obamacare is flawed and needs to be improved. I believe Trumpcare or maybe Ryancare is even worse. Instead of fixing Trumpcare, I would fix Obamacare.

In both cases, we should develop a plan to give everyone appropriate care (not emergency room) when they have things like cancer, diabetes, etc. Everyone should get trauma care when injured. Medical providers should always get paid for their efforts and government ought to stay out of it, period.

And neither plan does that but Obamacare comes closer. And based on your comments in the past, you like that Trumpcare leaves 24 million uninsured.

Here we go again with Yogi making up his own definitions of words again. First it was “literally” then “health savings account” and now “trolling” and “baiting.”

Troll: a person who sows discord on the internet by starting arguments or upsetting people by posting off topic messages with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or otherwise disrupting normal on topic discussions.

Baiting: when you say something that is obliviously wrong. The goal afterwards is to get people to try and correct you, as well as tell you how dumb you are.

JS’s post was neither trolling nor baiting; however, yours fits both definitions to a “T”

Let me ask you Yogi, via Linda Richmond:

Do you consider a peanut a pea AND a nut, regardless of how those two words are actually defined?

Do you consider Rhode Island an island just because it has “island” in its name, regardless of how an island is actually defined?

Please tell us what dictionary you’re using to define your words so we can make sure we’re all talking the same language and not just “this is what Yogi says the word(s) means, so let’s ignore the actual definition and how its used colloquially”

I like the idea of improving the current offering by eliminating the provision that allows 26 yos to stay on their parents policy. Reason: with new jobs under TrumPresident, the 26 yos will have the ability to pay their HI bill, as will others whose 29 hours work week jobs will morph into 40 hour work week jobs.

I also like the improving the current offering by removing the imposition of a > 63(?) day policy lapse penalty on the premium for a
‘late’ replacement policy. The current penalty is not much different from a mandate to buy coverage… but it works differently, so no one can LEGALLY call it a mandate.

I like the FREEDOM of choice the Republicans tried to offer, but it certainly can be improved upon with a ACA Repeal & Replacement Replacement (sic).

I despised the FREEDUMB of ONLY TWO CHOICES between a mandate to buy insurance or suffer a tax penalty … under ACA.

If TrumPresident doesn’t already realize this Republican ACA R&R Plan is just a ‘first draft’, perhaps in part to troll the Dems, someone should point it out to him.

DEMOCRAT voters in MI, WI, and PA, i.e. the ‘Blue Wall’, came to the conclusion that if they voted for Hillary, they’d eventually have to learn to speak Spanish, Chinese, and some Arabic dialects. That’s what Dem policies would have led to.

Boom! goes the stock market! Up, up, and up again!… rapidly and greatly, unlike the tame, needed increase in the federal interest rate; .75% to 1.00%.

The Constitution is safe, as are amendments thereto. With a Hillary Presidency, we’d be soon looking at another Socialist regime more damaging than the one that ended almost two months ago.

The main problems lingering are ACA and The Shadow Socialist Resistance Government installed by Barry before he left, and which Barry now runs from 4 blocks away from the WH. Resolving the ‘pest infestation’ will take time, but they will eventually be removed and replaced.

            Agent,

Please stop spreading lies. By definition, to have increased the debt more than all other previous presidents combined, the debt would have had to increase by at least 100% during their administration. That has occurred during the administrations of only 2 presidents, neither of which were President Obama.

@Ron; Obama increased the National Debt from ABOUT $10T to ABOUT $19.5T.

            That’s almost a doubling…. almost a 100% increase.

That’s ALMOST a $9.5T increase… greater than ANY one past President… and ALMOST as much as all prior POTUS’s combined.

The fact that the National Debt wasn’t EXACTLY a doubling (i.e. 100% increase) or wasn’t EXACTLY as much as all prior POTUS’s combined…. DOES NOT mean his terrible fiscal performance wasn’t HORRID.

Just a point to remember, I currently have an Obamacare plan and will likely loose it under the new GOP plan. I welcome that. Medical prices have tripled since Obamacare came into effect and my Obamacare package only covers 60% of costs after my deductible. It was far cheaper to see a doctor before Obamacare without insurance then it is to see one today with insurance.

Was Obamacare scored by CBO? Was it favorable? Was getting 6 million policies cancelled for people that liked their previous plan a positive thing? We know it didn’t rein in costs which have steadily escalated because it was built on a house of cards.

@Planet; it’s only a matter of time until The Shadow Government is exposed and shutdown by the Justice Dept. and bitcoin payments, by George Soros, to online trolls, dry up.

            @Confusing The Truth With Trumperbole;

Seniors will be able to get Medicaid-like assistance after most of the ILLEGALS are vanquished to their country of origin. With that, Federal and local expenditures for their welfare can be re-directed to elderly, ailing, US citizens.

            Got any other softball questions?

You’ll likely lose an ACA policy?

      Good!

You’ll get a BETTER policy after ACA is repealed and the free market is allowed to operate without government interference.

Do the math snowflakes. The percentages saved by the middle class and the upper class are the same. The dollar amounts are only presented to make it look ‘shocking’!

Title of the article should be:

“If allowed to continue, ACA is expected to further aggravate almost all 330 million US citizens. Rates will rise and the people will suffer greatly. Health care supply will shrink and the USA health care system will resemble those of failing Socialist health care systems.”

Polar, Trump said he could have waited until Obamacare completely imploded and then the Democrats would have been beating a hasty path to his door wailing for him to save them. He then said, no, that is not the right thing to do for the people and is committed to fixing the Healthcare crisis and doing it soon.

We are tired of fixing Socialist Democrats terrible mistakes. Obama and his minions are being held accountable now and no amount of screaming changes the facts.

Dems are using ‘instant repeal and replace’ as their measure of failure… because they know the replacement, whatever it turns out to be, will work much better.

It’s only a matter of time until the ‘repeal’ part is introduced as a separate, clean bill, with no aspect of ‘replacement’ involved. That will pass instantly, and some, not all, of the Libitterolls will try to resist TrumPresident in some other way.

This is what happens in full-blown socialist countries….

Consider it a lesson to be learned and remembered. The US HealthCare system COULD HAVE been sent down this Socialist road if TrumPresident didn’t win.

Polar, the same thing happened in the old Soviet Union under their Communist system. The citizens lined up on the street for bread and toilet paper. Those 5 year plans didn’t work out so well for them. It was an Orwellian nightmare.

Good thing we didn’t get Hilliary or we would be well on our way to the Venezuela nightmare.

It wasn’t bad for the politicians / dictators in control.

Bernie followers never had the foresight to ask him about his experience in Moscow, where he honeymooned decades ago. If it were before Reagan sank the USSR, he wouldn’t have seen the problems you described. If afterward, he would have just lied about it if any of the Millenials asked him about it.
