Former Willis CEO Casserley Joins Warburg Pincus as Investment Advisor

Private equity firm Warburg Pincus said Dominic Casserley has joined the firm as a senior advisor in its Financial Services Group. Casserley formerly CEO of Willis Group Holdings, will help evaluate new investment opportunities in the financial services sector, including in the banking and insurance industries.

Casserley served as CEO and a board member of Willis Group Holdings, a global risk advisory, reinsurance broking, and human capital and benefits firm, beginning in 2013. He led the company’s merger with Towers Watson to create Wilson Towers Watson in January 2016 and served as president, deputy CEO and a board member of the combined company until December 2016.

Previously, Casserley spent 30 years at McKinsey & Co., where he held several senior leadership positions in New York, Hong Kong and London, and had a consulting focus on financial services and risk management.
