If this study found this effect by looking at the rate of certain behaviors for people of certain age groups then might it be a bit flawed? I only say this because I wonder what the effect of those teenagers that choose to get their license much later are (if they are safer drivers than their peers or more dangerous ones) since they make up a larger percentage of teenage drivers than in past generations.
Teenagers are some of the most addicted to cells in our population. It is rare to see them in public when they are not texting, talking on that instrument. Then, they do it in the car as well.
Teenagers who are raised properly by their parents, given very strict rules generally don’t abuse it. It should be mandatory that they view the Jordan Spieth commercial numerous times. He is a young guy who is on Social Media, but that cell goes in his glove compartment when he is driving. Great role model.
