    From reading this article what advantage would there be to the average taxpayer to have Puerto Rico join the union of states. Will they add anything but additional expense to our nation?

      Why would we want a state that spends like a drunken sailor and bankrupt? We already have that in Illinois and Connecticut. Progressivism gone wild.

        because they’re already a US territory and have to abide by all our laws while having ZERO representation in the house or senate

          Doesn’t mean we have to admit them as a state. Guam is a territory as well and no talk of admitting them as a state.
