Wow Doug, you got down-voted on a simple observation. Yes, this is a bad year and each storm is unique. Plus there is many more structures to damage than 100 years ago. We had some bad ones in the 20’s & 30’s and there’s now way to know home many others formed and never hit land since we didn’t have the satellite technology.
This has got to be the worst years for hurricanes in the last 100 years, right?
I read somewhere that we are already twice the average pace for tropical storms and hurricanes than in a typical year. That is bonkers.
