All comments were deleted from the prior posting of this article. There is/was a link at the bottom of the story, which, apparently, not everyone bothered to use to report their stories on an anonymous, discrete basis. THIS article seems to be the same as the prior posted article, with an updated publishing date.

Following the instructions above, I again refrain from posting any specific personal experiences. I encourage those who did encounter such experiences, after reviewing in their mind the common or legal definition of sexual harassment or harassment in general, to follow the link and make their report. It will help others who have been subjected to inappropriate conduct by co-workers or managers.

HR managers and lawyers will be very busy in the upcoming few years with this issue. I hope it creates a better work environment for the sake of those affected adversely. It will also benefit overall employee morale as there will be less mistrust and fear in going to work and not having to experience harassment (without recourse/ relief).

With that said, I hope the MeToo and related movements to fight sexual harassment don’t deter people from flirting, wherever it may occur. I know of several great couples who met in the workplace. We also need to consider the implications of defining harassment too liberally, and adversely affecting our workplace relations and/ or the reputation of those accused.

I wholeheartedly agree with your final paragraph. I can see that the #MeToo movement is great for the women that are truly harassed; however there is too much of the over-zealous type. Some women want to take it so far as an honest compliment is harassment. As females we need to learn what is harassment and what is friendly interaction between co-workers.
