Taming Technochauvinism and Accepting Computers Don’t Always Get Things Right

    I disagree with the haircut example for differences in men’s and women’s pricing. I am male and get my hair cut once a month for $20 + tip. My wife (female) gets her hair cut and styled twice a year for $75 + tip.
    12 * 20 = 240 whereas 2 * 75 = 150. Even if my wife were to go an extra time (perhaps for a special event) she still comes out ahead.

    They used to say about computers, garbage in, garbage out.

    Some say autonomous cars are close to perfect until they run over someone during testing. Now, not so much because a human programmed it. Computers cannot make value judgments or whether something is right or wrong.
