This should be interesting–to see if Regions Bank customers who are both banking and insurance customers remain both after the insurance operation is sold. Assuming of course that there was ever any tie-in between the two, which would make this question unnecessary.
Banks should never have been allowed in the insurance business. It is a scam and they seek to control the customer with banking and insurance to make a captive audience. Wells Fargo is the best example, but there is a good reason why Regions is exiting. Doesn’t fit their business model.
The Regions Insurance management team was a joke. They took a couple of guys who they bought out of their agencies and made them corp big shots. Dishonesty was the policy. No wonder they failed. I bet those guys got paid though…..
I as a consumer and Regions customer who received great service from my bank , Also received accurate information from my BANK about my insurance and how to save. I’ve been with both Regions and the insurance company over eight years. Not a rip-off.
