I have been downloading plans to files to 3d print guns for over 5 years. I have made and tested many of them.
This is the internet. The files are all still readily available. This story does not reflect reality.

Liberals typically wake up after the horse has left the barn. Gun control and gun registration laws have been pointless for years due to 3D printing technology.

Google allowed this to happen: they created a system to distribute information at random to anyone in the world. Including the ability to make a gun in your garage for any and all criminals, terrorists and the insane.

Meanwhile the “Don’t be Evil” crowd refuses to work with the US military (anti-war, don’t you know). So in effect, they are helping the Chinese and Russian military.

And then they tell you how morally superior they are to conservatives. Right.

a few things people don’t know.
    1. It is completely lawful to smith your own firearm with no serial numbers for personal use.
    2. These plans and many other gun plans are available at the U.S. Patent office.
    3. The internet is open-source and global so things of all types are already there.
    4. Do we want to ban the internet or 3-d printers? that is the only 2 things that can prevent this.

    Do you blame Google? Hello?

Big Brave Liberal Google just announced they would enter China with a censored version of the search engine that distributes trash all over the rest of the world. This is after years of refusing to do so.

What courage! What principles! (Meanwhile, we get the full, trash-on version.) GUN CONTROL! yell the Google morons . . . and millions of other blind liberals.

Are you really saying you are in favor of wide distribution of 3D-printing/gun instructions?

Are you really saying you are in favor of widespread porn. that children now easily access every single day?

Are you really saying that you trust big corporations to decide on what should and should not be available under the guise of “free speech”? Or only big liberal corporations?

And are you really in favor of authoritarian governments telling Google how to help suppress the Chinese people?

Well, where do you stand on these issues?

My questions were based off of what you said in your post.

Your questions are not based on anything I’ve ever said before, so I don’t know why you’re asking me all that nonsense.

I ask again – were you REALLY saying you wish that the USA has what China has for internet?

Craig, if this was a China search engine and China disagreed with anything that you said, it would simply be deleted. Imagine posting all day and the government saying, “Nope, nothing from this guy gets posted today”, so all your hours on comment sections are wasted. Poor Craig.

Never. Ever. Wish our country to have anything like China. China is a dictatorship in the guise of communism, and you don’t seem like a person who wants someone else telling them what to post.

For those who are afraid of 3d printed plastic guns you do realize that today a person with access to a drill press can finish the manufacture of a 80% completed metal gun that is completely legal with no serial number. Or with the skills of a machinist would be able to make their own gun from a block of metal. The process of completing a 80% lower is very simple check out the videos on you tube if you are at all interested.

That being said think about the average criminal do you really think for a moment that they would do the work to manufacture their own gun when it is far easier to buy one on the black market and or steal one in a burglary.

Anybody in tune well-regulated militia should be allowed to have these, if the regulations allow it in writing. Nobody else should.

“Anybody in tune well-regulated militia should be allowed to have these, if the regulations allow it in writing. Nobody else should.”

It’s pretty clear you’re reading that part of it wrong.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”

At the time the militia they were talking about was their own uprising against tyranny from the government of England. The well regulated militia they were referring to was not stating they should have been regulated by England in regards to their gun rights. This is a lot more like saying: “The ability to form a militia is necessary to fight back against the government, and keep a free state, as such, our new state will not infringe on the rights of the people to arm themselves against their government” this was not a statement which you on the left tend to lean toward which is: “Guns are dangerous in the hands of citizens, a well regulated militia is ok but other than that, no guns that are of any substance like machine guns and dangerous ones because we are worried people will harm other people if we don’t regulate them”. They knew they would have lost that war without the ability to bear arms, this amendment was clearly made with the intent of allowing the people to be armed against the government, and it was confirmed as such with cannons at the time, as well as what would be considered machine guns at the time, when people specifically asked what the intent was.

You on the left are bluntly wrong about the intent of the law, or dishonest. The clear fact is you just don’t like the law, and you want to remove the 2nd amendment because you think in present day gun safety is a big issue. I don’t. I think people will do what they do, and some people need guns for personal safety, and if you get in the way of that from me, screw off. You can’t take what is mine. Come and take the guns. See what happens.

You’ll never get a 2/3rd vote to remove the amendment, and if you try to circumvent that with a supreme court ruling with a stacked reinterpretation of the law, it not only will lead to an arbitrary law system which could lead to our collapse (since justices are supposed to interpret law, not change it) when you come for the guns, there will then be a civil war, as you would be bypassing their rights and a good swath would rebel.

And what I mean by that line, it was confirmed at the time, I mean there were literally machine guns at the time, and they were deemed legal, and there were boats which asked if they could own cannons, and the government said “Yes.” and it was by no means their intent to limit gun ownership to solely safe weapons.

The issue here is you on the left are extremely dishonest with your goals. You believe guns are unsafe, the founding fathers did not.

All it will take is one or two politicians getting shot by one of these undectable guns before they are outlawed.

When the Black Panther party began arming their members and having them lawfully stand outside of courthouses and other government institutions fully loaded, it led to gun control laws being enacted by racists and cowards everywhere. Since the NRA and other gun-boner groups are way past pushing for sensible gun control laws, it will take several tragic circumstances before people begin to take notice.

Our current gun control laws make it far too easy for guns to fall into the hands of bad actors everywhere. Studies prove that increased gun control leads to increased gun safety and fewer gun crimes. What do you think having criminals carrying around plastic guns into crowds of people is going to do?

As David mentioned, however, the genie is out of the bottle. Good luck trying to control this now. Plans have been available for years, just like the RIAA getting a filesharing site closed, and then a dozen copycats will spring up in its place, there is no way to stop the stem of information once it is on the internet.

Penalties need to be stiff for people who violate gun crimes, plain and simple.

You are so pathetic. Before gun control was enacted by racists, now it’s enacted by people with good intent.

Stop invoking race and racism. It doesn’t need to be in the argument at hand.
