This one fits in with the joke that if President Trump ordered all polar bears protected, liberals would demand the extermination of all polar bears. . .
Okay, lefties. Slam Trump for doing what you would have wanted in the first place when it comes to opiod manufacturers.
Let me help you: “Trump is only doing this for politics!” “Trump took too long.” “Obama did nothing but wasn’t criticized because he was, well, Obama.”
Or, the much earlier joke of, if President Obama ran into a burning building and saved 50 babies, conservatives would ridicule him for using the wrong egress.

If that’s not enough to convince you of the dangers of pot, consider this entire section: “What are marijuana’s effects on other aspects of physical health?”, which was updated in June, 2018;
Yogi,
I have said all along that any intoxicating substance has the potential to cause harm. I don’t need your studies to convince me of anything. You’re barking up the wrong tree…again.

I agree with Tramp on this one. As for Craig’s misinformation:
“In its final year, the Obama administration pushed through Congress $1 billion for opioid crisis grants to states. Of that, $500 million was to be released last year and the other $500 million this year. States had to show that their opioid programs are based on clinical evidence, so medication-assisted treatment got a big boost.
The 2018 spending bill provides another $1 billion, and the Trump administration says it will carry even more specific requirements for states to use treatment supported by clinical evidence, including medications.” – AP By RICARDO ALONSO-ZALDIVAR
Apr. 16, 2018
And the results of all that Obama effort? 72,000. dead last year. That is called “success” in Liberal-ville.
Maybe if you secure the border, fentanyl deaths will decline. Maybe if Obama’s open border hadn’t been such a joke, Chinese-made fentanyl (where most of it comes from) wouldn’t have come up through Mexico like water through a screen door (how most of it gets here).
Liberal solution: No wall. Open borders. Sounds reasonable.
Craig, no doubt we have a serious drug problem in this country. Stoners to hard drugs. Did you see the story yesterday about 70+ stoners in New Haven, Ct getting hold of the lethal Marijuana? In a park at that. Hey, here is your new weed, give it a try. Ok, I haven’t had my high for the day. Plop! Someone call an ambulance. Stoners won’t turn anything down.
Exactly right. Liberals think that if we legalize marijuana, refuse to arrest drug users, keep the borders open to drugs, and lower the sentences for drug dealers that it won’t have any impact on increasing drug use/increasing drug deaths and overall misery caused by drugs. Nope. No impact at all.
And liberals wonder why conservatives think liberals are dumb.
Just wanted to point our it was K2….not MJ. If MJ was legal….K2 wouldn’t be made. Everyone knows all drugs pose risks. ALL DRUGS. Stop making it out to be like no one knows. There are plenty of legal (OTC, Pharmaceutical, Etcetera) drugs…..and we all know the risks. The only way to prevent risks is to not take ANY DRUGS. Legal, OTC, or illegal. This includes caffeine, pain killers, alcohol, antibiotics, you name it. We all know they have side effects and can be bad for you. Stop bashing on people who use drugs when you are not innocent!
Pretty sure everyone who read the story knew it was K2. They wrote ‘pot’ or ‘marijuana’ to avoid confusion as to what the people who OD’d thought they bought/ used.
Of course you can OD on marijuana. It happens all the time. Call your local mental hospital and ask them how often they see people experiencing psychosis simply from too much THC.
Here is what local San Diego mental hospitals say: they see people with marijuana-induced psychosis every weekend.

Craig, he means you cannot die from the ingestion alone of THC. And, he’s right.
“Can’t OD on marijuana” DOESN’T mean it isn’t deadly; e.g. some fatal traffic accidents are attributable to use of pot. So, it’s useless to argue about the difference between Natural Pot vs. Synthetic Pot.

Agent,
That was K2. Thank you for making the call to legalize’s point. That wasn’t MJ. Wouldn’t expect you to know the difference, though. Just see all your previous posts where you liken MJ to meth and heroin, or as you spell it, heroine.
Of course you can die from the ingestion of too much marijuana. Plenty of cases of suicide while on marijuana. What do you call drunk driving accidents when people die? Too little alcohol? Well, the same thing happens with THC. And ask your local mental hospital if people who are psychotic from THC can die from accidents/misunderstanding of physical properties. Of course they can. And do. (Just because your corrupt media won’t report on it does not mean nothing happens.)

Considering that 72,000. deaths is an all-time record, your spending may have done exactly zero. Now, why is the United States experiencing such death rates from drugs? What changed in the past few decades? Pray tell. Because I kept hearing the War on Drugs was a failure. THIS is success?

What has changed is Reaganism created the largest wealth gap in the history of the world. Some became addicted because their pockets were well-lined and they wanted to have fun and others through escapism because they aren’t a member of the lucky sperm club. Add to that, the comeback of prescription heroin being easily accessed and available and you have the problems we see now. Per you, 72,000 deaths.

Last time Rosenblatt: I have linked to multiple, respected scientific studies on THC multiple times. It you would like, I will link again.
Have you ever talked to experts in drug addiction and rehabilitation? I have, many of them, including the executive director of one of the leading rehabilitation facilities in Calif. You think she is making it up about pot being difficult to kick, a gateway drug, and mind altering (permanently for many)?
Have you ever talked to cops who deal with drugged up people every day and asked them what pot can do? Trust me, cops know.
Have you ever talked to people who run the most secure mental health facilities in your state, the facilities that house people deemed dangerous? Have you asked them about THC? I have, and what I have learned I have shared.
You doubt the expertise of all these people? You doubt the science in the links I send?
If so, you are a Partisan. A small person who never learns anything new. And ultimately responsible for the damage being spread by legalized pot. (Not that you would ever take responsibility for the negative consequences of the policies you support.)
